So the quality of apps such as Snapchat and Instagram is beyond usable on the pixel 2, has anyone else experienced this?
It's Samsung tocco level quality when using the rear facing camera on Snapchat

I've seen similar reports online but none of these issues have been reported on any reviews I've seen online

Anyone experiencing similar issues with 3 party apps?

The Snapchat app still takes a screenshot of the viewfinder in Android as far as im aware (open to correction here) so the results are going to look crap regardless.

Ive just enable the visual core to see it if helps with instagram. it does imo.

Apparently snapchat for android is based on a pretty bad platform that is not customised for all android phones unlike iphone which is more reflective of the phones camera quality and purpose built, its a shame that iphones are still a priority for these app developers

AFAIK snapchat are working on a complete overhaul for Android as the CEO admitted they are iOS lovers but android is a huge portion of their user base, so they will focus more on it. Should be coming out next year

I got it before Christmas. Was not really interested in it, but it is a fun device to swear at. I use it as a kitchen radio, and it is useful for cooking timers. Thats as in depth as I've got.

I have just reached out to Google Support for an update, fingers crossed they come back! My XL 2 was ordered to my brother's address in San Francisco so if I do get the mini it will end up going there but I'd rather it was there then not at all kinda thing!!

Just tried to order this off the Curry's uk site.

They took the money but then cancelled the order. Paypal and Parcel Motel. Still waiting to get the money back, anyone else have this problem with the refund, I'll give it a day before I start a dispute.

Really want to get this phone, any idea how I can order it from the UK?
