Thanks for your feedback. I went for the normal one in black anyway. Has anyone got their code from the Google Uk store for the Home Mini?

I got my code pretty much 4-5 weeks after ordering. Still have to put in the order though.

Where online is everyone buying these ?  Can you use parcelmotel with google UK store or is there a better way ?
Is the screen still subar  or have there been software updates/improvements to it ?.  Is burn in / image retention an issue ?
Finally how is the headphone volume  and  quality ?
    Thanks

Online via the google store and parcel motel works, not sure what is a better way.

The screen on the 2 is excellent, and I haven't noticed any burn in in a month. I can't answer for the 2XL, take your pick of online reviews for that.

Apart from having a dongle, the audio sounds pretty good to me. Granted I listen to Deezer HiFi via either in-ear or headphones and I don't notice any hiss or anything, but out and about there are many external factors that come into play. I haven't tried hirez audio stored locally, mainly because I listen to that on my home system.
The volume is good. I have yet to try bluetooth, but have a yokie (technical term) on order.

I tried this with parcel motel, DPD Wizard and using Revolut card. Nothing worked. I ended up going to Newry.

What is the best screen protector/glass you'd recommend for the pixel 2?

Pref one thats non-oily (if you get my drift)

Passed through the airport last week & that offer was still there, was tempted but even at €679 it's too rich for my blood. Do like the size though so might go for it 2nd hand next year sometime.

If you have the two updates in Patww79's post installed, open up the camera, click on the settings 'hamburger' and you should see 'AR Stickers as an extra option near the bottom. Select it, point the camera at something and drag one of the stickers onto the screen.

Is it only the black one they have? I prefer the white myself.

Oh that's epic. Can't believe it was there the whole time. Thanks.

I've got the 5' pixel and it's brilliant. Very fast and smooth, quick updates and a brilliant camera. I would also recommend it.

Ya they are but I don't take any notice with everything running so smoothly.
