Nina showing up again, I thought she lived in London now  I doubt the people of london will give a damn about some cult in carrigstown.

If only there was a doctor about who could look at Damien

On the opposite end of that, I see

Denise McCormack Love Hate/Red Rock actress turned up on EastEnders last night.

I'm glad she found work again.

She was Farrah Phelan #3 as well.

How did Damien get a cut to the front of his face when he had his back to the window?

Things are hotting up nicely now, although it only took one episode for Eoghan to want to kick out the cult, a but quick. And also, how absolutely stupid is Hannah, she just goes with whatever the nearest person is saying, absolutely no mind of her own.

Looks like its heading down Waco style they will have to smoke out the cult!

Poor Damien can't catch a break.

The whole cult thing just seems a bit pointless at this stage. Wheelie Dan is only there five minutes and he's ordering Oak Tree to leave.

Desperate Dan is gonna intergre himself into The Group, he's an outcast in the community but he still hangs about,

The Germans are going to have great crack trying to pronounce Caoimhe and Saoirse

No doubt there'll be plenty of eye rolling and pouting by Caoimhe while they attempt it...

I think Hopeless Hannah fancies him. The way she looks at him. Dan could be a good leader with his military background. He would whip them all into shape like that mad coach from Dodgeball.

Wouldn't find Paul Brennan too attractive. Oh i'd sleep for the money but i'd have the money by his first move...and that move would be his last:D

Oakley, groomed differently, is a fine man. Pete, Wayne, Bob, Damien etc all average enough. Decco would be very average, looks wise, very small etc. Eddie Dwyer was a bit of a looker. Louis Gleeson not too bad i suppose. Dean, i dunno, looks prematurely aged with the black beard and almost snow white head. Leo in his day a finer man. The likes of Dominic, that went out with Tracey was a fairly average looking man.

Much better looking ladies in FC. Melanie:)

I agree with all you had to say there. I remember Eddie - he was a good looking guy. And from a female viewpoint (this female viewpoint) you're spot on about the others too. I think Dean isn't a bad looking fella, but that he should either shave the beard or buy a box of hair dye. Like Robert in Corrie - the silver fox look doesn't exactly suit him, but that's just my opinion. And I agree that Melanie is the best looking woman in the show. :)

I was never too keen on his character, but I'm starting to feel really sorry for Damo now....

Re the Miriam/Oakley storyline. How could any two people be as gullible as Emmet and Hannah - Hannah especially. When she came back, she was completely Team Miriam, but a few quiet words from Oakley changed her mind in the blink of an eye. I thought there was no one more stupid that Kerri-Ann in the show - obviously I was wrong.... And, as for Emmet; why the fella was as anti Oakley as anyone could get and advised Miriam against letting him into the group a few weeks ago. Now he's following him around like he's a religion all unto himself! And as for Eoghan.... God, at least give Miriam a chance to explain, man, before ditching her! (But I think that's just a plot device to get himself and Debbie back together)

Jaysus if your friends in real life - some of them close friends - looking at you, Hannah - turned on you like that and took the word of someone who was basically viewed as an enemy a few short weeks ago, we'd never have a friend, because we wouldn't be able to trust a soul! And all it took was one word from Dan the rapist, a complete newcomer, who hasn't even ''shared'' with the group and everyone is anti Oakley again, as quick as you could snap your fingers! :D I have to keep reminding myself that it's not some internationally renowned award winning show - that it's Fair City, and the scripts are likely written by kids. A shame, really because there are a handful of good actors in it.....

When you mentioned a ' Robert ' there I suddently thought of the guy in FC called Robert I think who was very strange, he loved either Sash or Cleo and was very brainy or intelligent anyone else remember that storyline ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 659 ✭✭✭MsWesterosi

    The Dr isn't much use!

I found it funny when - can't rightly remember who was with Miriam in the kitchen - was basically b*****ing about Oakley - and he was standing within earshot messing with his phone in the background! Probably posting to Facebook, or Instagram where he's hoping to ''break'' ( via nefarious means, of course) Selina Gomez's record of having the most followers! :D :pac:

It's strange the way Pete was all over the place without Delores over Christmas spouting about the evil Group and Delores was nowhere to be seen, yet she's always hanging on his arm when walking up and down the road and interfering in everyone's business...

Damo, did you some of the faces he pulled tonight? What?

I think that Robert was with Cleo or maybe it was Sash. (Mam says definitely Cleo) He was a touch pedantic and not over emotional. My mam just reminded me that he was Brendan's (Heather's hubby's) cousin and that he was a physiotherapist, or something in that fielad. :)

The cult have employed Patches O'Houlihan to sort things out:D

Actually Mister Vain has hit the nail on the head!

Patches O'Houlihan is a far better name for Dan. Ok Dan wasn't into dodgeball but basketball wouldn't be too far removed!

    Agree totally.

I don't believe anyone exists with Hannah's level of general cop on. Her fragility makes Kerri Anne seem like Maggie Thatcher.

I loved Robert. (In a manly sense). He had Asperger's i think. Those episodes where he was being fed chat up lines by Dean to ask Cleo out... and his dead pan delivery went straight down the toilet..

I never can dislike Damo too much.

Murdered mother, father the murderer. When he was young bringing up Laura and Mark. The Suzanne beatings. Then meets another lady not suited to him at all, party girl Caoimhe. He's just a big mess of emotion..capable of harm, but a lot of good in him. Not a Paul Brennan sleaze. Not a thug like Paddy Bishop or Billy Meehan. But his life could go anyway.

As my mam would say 'there but for the grace of God go I'.

At least Dan has a good chance with Hannah..

Dan: Hannah, you don't know me...i'm a rapist.

Hannah: How could you, you're a horrible, horrible man.

Dan: But i rescued a kitten up a tree in Kosovo.

Hannah: Oh Dan i'm so sorry for being so judgemental, you're obviously a lovely man.

If Dan is Patches O'Houlihan his nemesis is White Goodman aka Robbie :D
