Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Is K Long the obvious replacement for Ward? He'd be some bargain

I can't really sell zaha now can I ! I may have other issues to deal with anyway

Is he starting instead of Brady by any chance

Long is a centre back who will drop out when Mee returns. I'd imagine Charlie Taylor will slot in to the team for Ward, he's a natural left back they signed from Leeds in the summer

Ye it should be Taylor. However mee played left back for Burnley the year they were relegated from the PL. My money would be on Taylor though.

Assuming KevIrl isn't taking the mickey in the matchday thread, it sounds like Kiko F ain't going to be featuring anytime soon. Might get Mariappa in after more inevitable carnage tomorrow night.

Moreno red flagged until the 16th on FPL site and Ward hobbling off leaves me shaky at the back.

Really want to dump Courtois as well...up there with my worst signings of all time

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,596 ✭✭✭✭siblers

Not sure why people are signing Christensen, he was lucky to get a cs tonight and Chelsea can't keep cleansheets

Think they are bad moves- i'd sooner do them the other way around???
Couts and Rooney will outscore morata and gross all day long- i've just sold Morata and Gross this GW but for Hazard and Calvert Lewin,

Thinking of Mee -> Kabasele and Hennessey -> Pickford.

I’m going to take a punt on Burnley’s defensive output slowing down in the coming weeks and I like the look of Watford’s fixtures, with Kabasele being nailed on.

Pickford has relatively okay fixtures and Everton will only continue to improve defensively under Big Sam. That, and I don’t really fancy any of the other cheap goalkeepers aside from perhaps Gomes and certainly won’t be doubling up on Watford.

Not sure of prices off hand and if this cheaper but you could do Kenny and Gomes instead of Pickford and Kaba?

I'd give Burnley more of a chance for clean sheets even with tougher fixtures than Watford with easier ones

Ah, He's been consistently subbing him off earlier each week, barely made 60 minutes at the weekend. I reckon his days are numbered.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,839 ✭✭✭✭callaway92

Ben Davies out - either Monreal, Kolasinac or Mustafi if he’s fit for the weekend

Was thinking of keeping him as he is getting a good rest.

Gross has to go now that his place is not secure.

Think I'm going to sell him for Shaqiri. Good fixtures and more explosive. Wary of his injury record though especially this time of year when I need guaranteed starters.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,778 ✭✭✭✭Ace2007

Initial plan, Mahrez is on fire, as is Silvia - leave me with strong 7.

    Shaqiri, Romeu and Aguero out
Mahrez, Dilvia and 5.4 striker (bench fodder) in.

Have exactly enough to get David Silva in for gros. Pity I didn't realise that yesterday :D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,596 ✭✭✭✭siblers

Probably do Mbemba to a West Ham defender, Gomez is a problem but I assume he'll start the next game so wlll keep him for the time being

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,063 ✭✭✭✭eh i dunno

Sane has delivered nothing in weeks. Maybe mahrez in

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,148 ✭✭✭Cypher_sounds

Wonder how serious Rooney injury is.
Might bring Mahrez for Coutinho as he’s not up to much, seems a bit of overkill with Salah too.

    Lindelöf to Jones.

de gea in.....will have to adjust...but hes a must have...

Absolute miserable week and I'm probably banking because I love the pain

Ederson. Rather wait for 2FT week.
    Elliott. Til the death.

    Azpi. Home against Southampton.
    Mee. He'll be back surely.
    Tarkowski. Good fixture.
    Duffy. Same fixture also good.
    Femenia. Wait and see.

    Salah....
    Sane. Rested now. Last chance.
    Shaqiri. Good fixture.
    Townsend. My bench maybe.
    Fabregas. Rested right?

    Kane. Hard to drop.
    Morata. Unless concrete news appears.
Niasse. Has to go but with 2FT. My bench.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,264 ✭✭✭✭manual_man

Thanks to Gross price drop, i'll likely be doing Zaha to Gross and Fabianski to De Gea (at last!) for a -4. Gross is off form but he's a good player and if this season is anything to go by, people dropping him means he will score well soon. Fixtures look nice over the next 11 gw's the Chelsea games aside

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,036 ✭✭✭✭Fitz*

Really have to try find a way to get my 2 strikers out. There is no real outstanding striker out there this season, in form.

I have Aguero & Morata. But who to bring in? Kane not doing it lately, as is Lacazette, Morata seems to be getting rested, Aguero/Jesus are never guaranteed the start.

I'm thinking the same. But only because FFFix is recommending it for me.
