There were no babys named my name in 2016. :-(

Ranked around 550 the year I was born.

Less than 3 Cecil's every year since 1994.

These people should be found by the state and given all the care they need for the trauma.

Here you go, enter your name and year in which you were born and it will show the rise or fall of your name over time.

    http://www.cso.ie/en/interactivezone/visualisationtools/babynamesofireland/

Kids born in 2016 have had a 95% drop in numbers with my name since I was born:(

So are you declining like me or newly popular?

'Buford' though...not surprised it's out of favor tbf

My named peaked in popularity the year I was born and has been in quick decline ever since with 18 registered births in 2016!

I really like my name. Wonder if it'll disappear soon.

I was one of 535 babies registered with my name in 1982, only 27 babies were blessed with it in 2016.

I was one of 160 Raymonds born in 1982. Last year, the figure had tragically dropped to 11. With your help, we could save this beautiful name. Please donate.

Just looking at the name 'Noah'. Not one single child by that name in 1995 and then it really took off in popularity. Anyone know why that was?

    785 in the year 1973, and 27 in 2016. I am a dying breed !

One thing I notice is Irish names in general slipping away down the list.

Must represent demographic changes or British cultural influence (a lot of English names near the top) or broadening horizons.

Or maybe just an overall decline in Irish cultural interest.

Less than 3 the year I was born, maybe I was the only one.

    26 last year.

Funny that, my name is not unusual.

I know a couple who named their son Maximus. Yes, they just call him max

My name has gone from 302 babies in 1982 to just 18 last year. It's a fairly common Irish name, or at least it used to be!

Surprised to see there were 446 Noahs in 2016!

That's something I've noticed too. It's a pity really, we should really celebrate our cultural identity more.

103 the year I was born and 22 last year. It's a terribly old fashioned name so I'm actually surprised that there were so many last year!

Conor, Sean and Oisin still in the top 10 boys names though!

There doesn't appear to be a single case of another person with my name!
I can't be the only Adolf in the country, surely.

It's a lovely name. Germanic, I believe. Can't imagine why it would be so unpopular. :(
