    Lashing rain here at the blackstairs.
    I don't expect any snow till 5 or 6 a.m.
    Off to bed.
    Mountains should be white in the morning whatever about the surrounding area.

    Some ppl in Sligo are going to bed

    They think its all over

    It is now (for us)

    Enjoy snow Mayo and places half an hour away

    Im hvin a pint then sleeepin till midday

    If you see kay this snow ill see you in tea

    Geashill in Offaly is reporting -0.2c and a few miles out the road near Portarlington it's +0.7c. Must be turning to snow in those lower-lying areas now along the Laois-Offaly border.

    Still snowing heavily in Castlebar and the dp is holding steady at -3C, just over 2cm of snow so far, off to bed, but looking forward to seeing how the morning looks.

    So dont complain of your snowsheild in Cork

    Sligo has a snow roof where places even 3 miles away get snow like Collooney. Plus we hv the 4th worst traffic congestion in Ireland

    It was wet snow accumulating at when I looked out the window at 2.20 then 30 mins later I looked again and all the white gone. Not feeling too hopeful for the morning now. South Dublin 260m

    Actually just found this Dew Point map on Wunderground, seems to be composed of data from weather stations owned by the general public, so some of them are obviously busted, but still interesting:

    It's really coming down heavy now in West mayo,flakes becoming bigger,

    Temperatures steadily dropping in the precip at Howth I see.. down from a max of 4.5 soon after midnight, now sitting at 3.3


    Beautiful cold rain as expected here.... still holding out to see a few flakes falling as it clears later today..
