Ekbards scans the area for hoof prints or tracks to see if he can figure out which way recent travellers went.
Ekbard can clearly see hoof prints leading off into the canyon. One of them bore a heavy enough rider.

OOC: They're within medium range, around 100 foot or so away. You do have surprise on them, so you'll get a free round of attack

Ekbard muses that the heavy rider must be Betty, "okay Menace, follow those hoof prints".
Ekbard urges his horse forward into the canyon.

OOC: I guess I have no choice but to do this!

Xanthea urges Shapsberg forward, grabbing out her two handed sword, for it was its time to taste blood.

"OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRCCCCCCCCCCCCCCC" she bellows, part as an act of intimidation towards the Orcs, part in the hope of alerting her friends to their peril as she prepares to engage the Warboss...
The warboss turns toward the sound behind him, "Who in da seven hells is..."
Seeing the charging warrior bearing down on top of them, the two orks accompanying the warlord let out a savage scream and dart away from their leader in terror, in the direction leading out of the canyon. The Warboss doesn't know which way to look.

OOC: You made them fail a morale roll with the charge, so they've bolted! Except the warboss, who you get a free attack on.

Ekbard sights the large plaza where the group are gathered quickly enough. However tearing toward him, faces pale green with fear, are two orcs and somewhat behind them the princess battling a much larger orc.

    OOC: Excellent! *Good Lawful Laugh*

Xanthea grins as the two minions bolt. Being a warrior princess has its advantages. Pressing her advantage she takes aim at the warboss and lets forth a massive swing of her sword...

    Hit roll 14

OOC: Rolled on rolz, but as I'm off my pc I don't have my login for our dice room.

OOC: Just a quick check are you on or off the horse? On means you'll be able to get away quicker, but off gives you access to the 90% chance to hide as a halfling.

OOC: No problem, you should be able to get in anonymously just from the room name. Boards.ie D&D. Try rolling the damage there

OOC: Then go ahead, until somebody spots you, you can pick them off. We'll deal with them one by one.

A spray of blood lashes across her face as Xanthea warrior princess rides past the orc. The orc's head flies clean off his shoulders and tumbles forward into the dirt. His career had ended like those of most Warbosses, at the end of a warrior's blade.

Ekbard charges towards the two orcs that are heading straight towards him, sword up, ready to swing.

OOC: Woohoo! Now, do I go after the rapidly running away orcs, or leave them to tell of the fate of their boss? I think I should leave them.

Xanthea slows the horse and returns to the fallen warboss, The stench is revolting, but no orc becomes a warboss without amassing some possessions. She starts checking his pockets as she sees someone approaching by horse...

OOC: They're panicked, so you automatically hit. Roll damage for each one, if they survive then they might attack.

The orc had obviously been raiding for a while, family heirlooms, necklaces and some blood stained coin lined his pockets, all coming to....5GP.

OOC: I'm rich! I'm wealthy! I'm covered in orc blood and need a shower!

Ekbard hits the first straight across the stomach, spilling its intestines onto the canyon rock. The second leaps back from the swipe, which cuts open his right cheek.

"Another bloomin' 'uman! Why don't ye get off yer horse coward!"

    OOC: Roll 1d6 for initiative.

Xanthea gathers up the amazing haul of coin from the warboss and starts walking up towards Bandylegs and his ladyfriend, while looking for a pool of water to wash off in.

The orc gets his hand on his blade, but too slow to stop Ekbard who slices him across the throat in one sweep.

With that, the last of the Warboss's group hits the ground.

An arrow from Goodie sails across the canyon and slams into the head of the orc on the highest outcrop, who drops dead to the ground.

    Nobody notices the kill.
