    Where did you buy it?

Does anyone know where you can see the real time quotes for the ASX ?

    Thanks Thargor.

Does anyone have a recommendation of fee based version? The cheaper the better obviously :)

I use this Canadian site seems to be pretty accurate, the one you linked to seems well delayed, https://www.stockhouse.com/companies/quote?symbol=t.weed

This is ripping through any resistance. Probably over $22 before close today.

Stick VFF.CA and ACB.CA on your watch list. Didn’t buy anything today but these were on my radar the last 2 weeks. A rising tide etc.

Highly Speculative Small Cap but looks like it might gather pace, got into it on the October low, spotted it when looking for crypto shares.
Up 42.50% on Borse today. (.086 on the ask) Price holding with increased volume and extenstion of warrants notice released the other day. Worth looking at chart of 4/12/16.
Borse Chart does not give full year.

    Quantum Numbers Corp.
Investing.com https://www.investing.com/equities/active-growth-capital-inc (look at yearly chart).

THis might be a silly question. I haven't purchased on the TSX previously so just checked the degiro fees. Am i reading the fees on degiro correctly? 2 EUR + 0.01 CAD per share, so 10k shares would cost 100 CAD + 2 EUR?

I bought 100 shares on the TSX, 2 euro admin fee +0.67 cent charge. So your right, any of the Canadian stocks I have now are on the borse germany except one. Can't be paying a .01 cent charge on a stock your buying for .04:pac:

Ha. Yeah I thought I was misinterpreting the fees but obviously not. :pac:

Did you pay €2.67 for €4 worth of stock??

Ha no, was about €500 worth.

The spread on the Börse is very big I’d like to find a cheaper way to buy.

just done the math as wanted to buy 57,000 odd canadian shares now, rougly about 402 euro, going by the borse route it's nealry 1840 considering the spread:eek:
Borse seems like a really bad idea now looking at it or am I missing something?

I worry a bit for the people on this thread

Stocks are in my opinion, in a bubble.

When Degiro now has advertising on Dublin streets you know everyone is getting into it and pushing up prices.

There is huge uncertainty around Brexit and Trump

    Lots of other reasons

But if you can stomach a 25% paper loss (as i did recently with NOKIA) stay smart and diversified.

I repeat what i have often said, you dont know your real risk tolerance until your account suddenly goes tripple digits into the red

Well all the companies in your portfolio will have to be wound up for it to go triple digits red :D

Those Degiro ads are weird though, Ive seen a couple around Bray and its just a picture of the interface and a line about buying shares, no mention of the company? I knew it was Degiro by the font and the colour but no website or anything, maybe they were just mounted badly...

I'm not sure of the royalty and patent agreement with Nokia and HMD Global but Nokia phone demand is out stripping supply.
I know it's lost on it's network division (thankfully I sold before that news). I do see some upside when the royalties start coming in though, not sure when we'll see that or the value of it.

With saving interest rates at record lows, it's no wonder people are looking elsewhere for a better/good return.

Indeed, I can pull some articles about institutions pulling out of equities at record pace when I get home

The discussion in this thread has largely turned to exploration based small caps in the lithium/cobalt space. This is currently an unwavering bull market and has great prospects for the future. I don't see how your post has any link to this.

What you are referring to is the larger broad market (S&P 500) which is of course over valued but at the same time, sees no real sign of slowing down. People were predicting that we are in a bubble at the beginning of 2017. If you sat on your cash until now you'd have lost out on 30% gain in the Nasdaq 100 YTD on so called over priced tech stocks.

I’d like to see a dedicated small cap thread or anything that trades with 3 digits 0.015
I’ve a lot more interest in a stock that moves by half a cent than Tesla moving $10, there’s very little reward and I see it as just as risky.
Have 100,000 shares shifting 1 cent in a day is better than having 20 shares that move by $10.
I don’t think you can be any way passive trading at the moment thinking buying the likes of Tela or Apple is going to make you rich.
Lots of noise and hype out there, moving away from the big names, Activision proved it to me, sat on them a good while and once I viewed the EA results I bailed out with profit. Was kicking myself when it ran up a little in the last few days before earnings but the charts had told me it was going to drop after earnings and it did.

When recommending quantum above studying the yearly charts has told me this is going to run up until news and if it’s news of value it’s realy going to pop. The run up to news will cause a rise as it has every time if history is anything to go by. I’ll be watching very closely over the next 3 days as it’s crossed the pop line and has never fell from it without a big positive move first.
The fees are large, Quantum for example €400 For 60,000 shares, but when it drifted to .095 Friday and closed at .105 there’s your commission fees more or less back. Another .055 rise on the run to news (I think it’ll be more). Is a phenomenal return in the space of a few weeks.

Perhaps there might be some merit in having a separate small cap thread but this thread is already quiet enough IMHO. There are only about 20 posts per week.

Is there an active irish trading site?, it’s a very quite thread alright, you’d like to be seeing a few trade ideas every day especially around euro and irish stocks.
I do find the Euro stocks a bit hard with the language barrier. Difficult to get English news on them. Maybe I’m just not looking in the right place.

Speaking of Euro stocks and trade ideas, Atari buy at .36 sell at .40, rinse and repeat. : )
It’s the only euro stock I’ve left. I’ve only about a PlayStations worth.

ASX taking a bit of a hammering, or perhaps readjusting. Asia markets doing the same. Could be a good time to mop up some of those small cap on the ASX. LPD to only stock not in the red for me.

All mine in the red today. Of the ones I've kept a watchful eye on Malin is up 21%. I've no intention of getting in on it though.

Does anyone know anything about French soccer, this popped up on my scanner last week http://m.4-traders.com/FINANCIERE-CROISSANCE-INV-271170/

I’m out of my debt haven’t a clue why the rise, figured out there a soccer club that’s about it. Nice week on week trend if it was to continue, are they close to moving a division or something?

They own FC Istres, who were in the French top division up until a number of years ago and were then relegated to the seventh tier as they seemingly went bust. Haven't a clue why their share price is climbing in the manner it is.

Interesting piece on them (FC Istres) here if you're interested in football:

Sold out of Berkut lastnight at a loss. Win some ye loose some and it was a category 10 stock in terms of speculation! May come good in the future but for now I will reinvest elsewhere to try and recoup. Probably just bump up my TAW holding.

I have a very strong coiling spring gut feeling about TAW at the minute.
