I was going to sell some weak performing stocks to purchase more TAW or EUC. Both have great prospects. Thargor have you any position in EUC, or have you followed their progress?

No position in EUC sorry, I know I want some Cobalt in my portfolio ASAP though.

    https://hotcopper.com.au/threads/ann-bald-hill-on-track-for-lithium-production-in-q1-cy18.3868259/#.WhykA9Vl-Uk

TAW on track for production and on budget for production commencement in Q1 next year, significant exploration drilling to follow in 2018 on top of their production schedule, coverage hasnt even started for them yet but they're starting to get mentioned in a lot of articles alongside PLS and the others now. Lithium demand growing by the day, price keeps rising. Lithium miners coming onstream now look to have picked a very sweet spot for the next couple of years supply and demand-wise, all looking very promising.

    Gold Money Inc

It backs crypto with gold and issues a credit card and app you can trade real gold/silver etc like crypto using blockchain technology.
The royal mint in the UK are working on something similar with CME group but not on the market yet.

    https://www.goldmoney.com/corporate/investor-relations

    https://www.reuters.com/finance/stocks/overview/XAU.TO

( http://rmg.royalmint.com/ can only register interest so far)

I heard the stock tipped by the CEO of another company i'm invested in, he's expecting 2/3 times growth in this stock.

Chart looks positive and seems like a very good idea. Anyone any thoughts?

Expect JRV to open with a bang on Wednesday in Oz, currently in trading halt for a capital raise announcement.

Is anyone following Rhythm Biosciences Limited RHY? Developed a blood test for early detection of colon cancer. Listing late in the week or early next week. Prospectus from their website. Sounds very promising and will try to get in early myself.

Anything even remotely related to cryptocurrency going ape over the last couple of weeks, looks mad to me but what would I know, changes in these stocks over the last 3 weeks:

    DPW +540% (+640% pre-market)
    MARA +270% (+295% pre-market)
    GBTC +60% (+70% pre-market)
    RIOT +73% (+80% pre-market)

Can it last, where will they be in another 3 weeks

Slightly less glamourous, long-ish plays in the food sector of Iseq.

Glanbia (€14.35), this is a year low, despite some good news recently (they finally got rid of Liquid Milk business) and are now a pure Nutritional ingredients play and a potential acquisition target where the price would be north of €20 per share.

Aryzta (€31.84) maybe late to the party here as they have already shot up an impressive €7 per share in the past 2 months, due to new management team in place aggressively getting rid of loss making subsidiaries. Acquisition speculation also, and acquisition price target being mentioned is in the €40 -€50 per share region.

(Full disclosure : I picked up some Glanbia myself today @€;14.40 and will be pulling the trigger on Aryzta on any kind of price weakness in the near future)

    Risky but high risk reward.
Esperion is already up 70%+ this year and at $21 it is still way off its highs which were well over $100, it lows were at $9s
The pathway for their cholesterol drug looks clearer.
For the record I bought some at $13s and more in the $18s.
Despite the already huge gains, I believe ESPR still has a long way to go.

This was my big pick for the year. It was $21 when I posted about it.
Today it reached $66, so a potential 214% profit.
The stock is up around 420% for the year.

    I will keep holding it.

This is at $450.41, up a little over 18% since the $381.20 price in January.

Given the volatility of it I'd sell now if I held any stock (as mentioned in this thread I only invest in 3x ETFs). I see no reason why it won't go higher but it would also be a pretty good time to sell on the back of good earnings and regulatory approvals. Be interesting to see how it plays out until year-end which I guess is the point of this thread.

Finished up @ $375.96 in the end (down overall for the 6 month period). Interestingly hit a 52w high 543.55 a few weeks after my sell recommendation.

As mentioned in the original post I don't invest in individual stocks but wanted to pick an interesting one to follow for the year.

Speaking of Euro stocks and trade ideas, Atari buy at .36 sell at .40, rinse and repeat. : )
It’s the only euro stock I’ve left.

This stock has done ok for me it's now sitting at 0.4825 up another 8.42% today.

Could it be the run up to the atari box https://ataribox.com/

Netflix broke $200 barrier and reached as high as $220.
Seems to be going from strength to strength. 100% gain for me in 2 years or so.

Trump is playing a blinder :p

I was just thinking this morning is it time to get rid of the doctor and put o'leary in charge. There's a lot to be said for putting a rich business man in charge of the show.

Netflix has a huge p/e rating, would like to see that get down. It's very bullish compared to the competition http://financials.morningstar.com/competitors/industry-peer.action?t=NFLX

Anybody read Michael Murray in the SBP, he tipped Burford back in August when they were 3.90, now 7.50

Michael, and anybody else who bought Burford, is smiling this morning, SP up over 30% after a cracking set of results and a 20% increase in dividend.

Anybody read Michael Murray in the SBP, he tipped Burford back in August when they were 3.90, now 7.50, also tipped DCC when they were at 24.38, now 70.10, BATS at 34.87, now 50.90, Kuka at 37 now 97.69. Doesn't always get it right of course but seems to have a good record.

Burford now at 16.02 (400+% increase since his tip), DCC 74.50 (up 300+%), BATS 38.15 (<10%), KUKA sold off for a handsome profit (around 300% I think).

Last Sunday's tip from Michael - Intertek Group (ITRK)
