I'd imagine that you'll probably want to set your limit price in the order (max you want to pay) close to current share price, but I'd say there's a high probability of this opening a good bit above the last close, so your order would not be filled in that case (limit below the price).

Its the Limit (AUD) is where its messing up. Current price is .36 AUD, but if I try and put anything less than 1 AUD into the limit order box it isnt happy

e.g. if I put .37 it just says please enter a limit price and doesnt update the Euro amount

I had some trouble buying ASX stocks last week on De Giro. Kept coming up with errors but I just tinkered with the limit price etc and eventually it went through. Shame it's a hefty trading fee compared to other parts though. But heck it'll be obliterated by the profits we'll all be taking 😀

Email DeGiro support and asked them to add it. Normally takes 1-2 days.

Got in at 0.29 AUD, closed at 1.14 on Friday. 393% gain which is incredible stuff.

Nice find. Not for me - I love the idea of AI dispassionately decoding what to invest in, but from looking at the data sheet, straight out of the gates it’s heavily restrict d to US exposure - which defeats the purpose a bit...
Also, the fees could end up being high...monthly rebalancing, TER if 0.55% and presumably fees on each invested ETF

Saw this yesterday, they have taken a fair hammering this year, down 42% in the last 6 months while the sector is down 15%. The most recent collapse on Friday came after they cut full year guidelines. They could be oversold with opportunities for a quick buck turnaround but not for widows & orphans.

US malls are empty. Basically, Amazon's eating its lunch.

JC Penny's been limping along for the past five years or so. There were hopes of a turnaround but seems not to be materialising. Their forward guidance keeps disappointing.

Anyone investing in the new medicinal business in Canada, i’m in weed.ca (canopy growth) for the last 2 weeks and it’s flying doesn’t seem to be stopping,
Do you DD not sure the boat has left just yet. Corona bought into it last week.

Excuse the pun but it’s a stones on Degiro, you can buy and sell Canadian stocks at market rates but there not reflected in real time but do appear in your portfolio.
For example I know I’m up more today but it’s still not reflecting the close price today so will be tomorrow before I see today’s profit reflected in my portfolio, it doesn’t stop you buying and selling during the day though.
Not sure I’d buy in right away as it could pull back to $12-16 area then buy the dip, Who knows where it’s going though seems only one direction.

It's a bubble alright. Over on the reddit weedstocks forum there are noobs asking if they should throw 150k at it or not. Lots of new entrants buying on the news.

The 10% buy-in by Constellation Brand is a bit of a worry. It could signal the start of a sell off and the news has obviously triggered a frenzy.

It's like dot com all over again.

THis might be a silly question. I haven't purchased on the TSX previously so just checked the degiro fees. Am i reading the fees on degiro correctly? 2 EUR + 0.01 CAD per share, so 10k shares would cost 100 CAD + 2 EUR?
