I have the coldest dining room in the world, yet I'm here sitting at the table with the sweat pouring off me. What's going on with the weather. TA just realised I don't possess a radio which can work on batteries. I have loads of batteries, but no radio!

    There's a radio on your mobile. :)

The cult fame of Teresa Mannion.
Made famous for standing on a strand in high winds telling people "not to make unnecessary journeys" and hamming it up, when there were lads behind her casually walking home.

Now she's rolled out the Salthill again today.

It the RTE News version of Jim White on Sky Sports' Deadline Day.

TA every leaf in the estate is firmly lodged in my porch - when I open the front door the hall is blasted with leaves.

Quiet here too. Might chance it. Otherwise it won't be emptied for a month as in two weeks time I'll be away.

I would definitely do it. I can't see why it won't get collected.

Every bloody company calling things "an experience" now.

I dont experience a shop. I visit one to browse or shop in it!
I dont experience a TV show. I watch a TV show!
I dont experience a bank. I bank there! (Take note KBC.. That add is annoying!)
I dont experience a website. I visit a or browse website.
The Jameson visitor centre in Dublin is now the "Jameson Experience".. Sorry unless you have drank a bottle of the stuff in one evening or they are going allow visitors to get rat arsed on the stuff, you are not going to "experience" Jameson whiskey by visiting a display/museum.

Bull **** terms like "Brand experience manager" or Customer experience representative..

Which idiot comes up with this crap? How long till Boards stop counting site visitors and start counting "site experiences"?

Is the younger generation that thick that the can only think of one word to describe everything that we do?

TA, A side effect of taking iron is extra long eyelashes. They keep poking me in the eyes and my eyes are really sore from all the rubbing. I keep smearing mascara around my eyes.

No electricity since 1pm yesterday, had to get dressed in the dark. Got into work looking like shite and feeling like shite and I've got toothpaste on my black trousers and my top.

Same here (apart from the toothpaste!) fumbling around in the dark like a troglodyte this morning.
And I've the destruction in my garden (Including a broken fence panel) to look forward to later on.

Cardboard/tetrapak style cartons of milk with twist off caps

yeah their great and they can fold down quite well and not take up too much space in your green bin, but because of where the cap is located, you always feel there are a few dribbles of milk getting away! Lost forever.
You don't get that with the plastic bottles!!

About as trivial as it gets.

Feeling like someone gave me a smack in the face with a hurl

Disgusting f uckers who make a big song and dance about farting and thinking it's something funny to do constantly while in the room with other people. It's vulgar and vile and there's no need for it. By all means fart, but is there a need to lift your leg, leave off a string of them and then follow it up with "ahhh good arse" it actually infuriates me to the point of wanting to turn them upside down with a punch
