I went in to the shop to get bread and milk Jaysus the place was robbed. Not a crumb of bread left. I ended up getting two packs of Haribo and a few doughnuts sure I'll be grand won't I?
I'm in Galway so the place is going to get a hammering.

I met someone recently who I hadn't seen in a few months. I was greeted with "You have lost a tonne of weight, are you sick ?". Cheers for that, good to know I look emaciated and diseased :(

    Just jealous !

I'm feeling so sick, awful headache all day and I only get them when there's thunder/lightening around, feel like getting sick,sweating,dizzy..if I ring in sick in the morning they'll think I'm faking it because of the storm and I confirmed earlier that I'd be in..ffs.

I have a headache and my sinuses and gums are sore only since this evening, genuinely don't know if it's a coincidence or not but I think I'm going to blame the storm :)

My work is open tomorrow but as there are no busses, I'll have to walk so I'm not going in. Hope there aren't too many repercussions but I'm not risking it.

Same. I shouldn't have read the entire fcuking internet's opinion on this storm. I was blissfully unaware all weekend, failing around drinking wine.
    Those were the days.

TA when you have a treat and it just makes you hungry for another one.

TA being a paranoid freak and getting up to check if it's stormy outside yet

The heat is unbearable! I can't get over it. I'm not like this either and it's annoying me.

I'm more annoyed over the fact that my younger sister has to work tomorrow. I'm so worried about her travelling.

Cant sleep im up in 5 hrs to drive from Tralee to Derry then to Kilkenny and back to Tralee.
Staying in a friends house in Fenit, think ill head down the pier, have a smoke, then try sleep and go to work when the storm comes in,I should be running from the worst of it all day hopefully.

My missus let the cat out during the night and he hasn't come back yet. It's getting really stormy out there and I'm worried. I went out for a walk in it to see if he'd come out from wherever he's hiding but he didn't. Really worried about him now. Fecksake, I'll be the idiot killed by a tree when I'm out looking for my cat.

Arrived into work this morning (in Waterford) to be met by a co-worker saying "ah you're a fucking idiot coming in here today" (he was on his way home off the night shift). Then told "ah sure look management feel they can bully people like you". Eh no, I just took a look at all the weather reports and believe we'll be grand here.
Then met someone else coming off the night shift who said "oh you're mad". No, I'm not.

I think there will be parts of the country badly affected but I don't live in any of those places.

Text my manager to say I couldn't make it in as there are no busses and it's too dangerous to walk and got no reply. Sound.

All the big multinationals in Cork are closed, Apple, KPMG, Amazon, Voxpro, Stryker, Johnson and Johnson not to mention the likes of Dunnes,
    Penneys and Debenhams.

Never fear though, my office is open. Actually disgusted by it.

The cat came home. The relief!! I stuffed him with tuna and squeezed him and now he is napping away.

The Wi-Fi has just gone at home, so that is the TV and internet gone. Off to look for my vibrator that takes batteries :p

I'm eating healthy at the moment and prepared all my food for work today for the first time in ages.

Heading home from work soon so could have had freshly cooked food instead of this stuff microwaved :(

Bins due to be collected today. We're due the worst storm I've ever been alive for so I didn't/am not putting out my bins. Rang the company today to see when they're rescheduling the collection for, given that there's an actual hurricane and she informed me bins are being left out and collection as normal.

I have the coldest dining room in the world, yet I'm here sitting at the table with the sweat pouring off me. What's going on with the weather. TA just realised I don't possess a radio which can work on batteries. I have loads of batteries, but no radio!

Fcuking idiots going kite surfing on a day like today, getting into trouble, and as a result, a rescue helicopter & a lifeboat (who are all volunteers) have to go out looking for them.
