Went to the dog park before the worst of it hits.

10 dogs having a blast chasing leaves around in the breeze, no need for tennis balls!

Well well well 11am and its 18 degree's out with a bit of wind what a strong ''hurricane'' idiot experts.

That's okay then. No storm in history has ever started after 11 AM.

Yep. Ah we're not supposed to be too badly hit so I don't mind. The place is like a ghost town though, think a few people just wanted a day off :pac:

We had cake, and because some people didn't come in, we got bigger slices.

    THANK YOU OPHELIA.

While I don't think where I am will be badly affected, I'd say other parts of the country will be, I'm puzzled by people rejoicing and gloating that the storm appears (right now) to be calmer than predicted. Do you people want a medal?!

That's the thing about stupid people, they are stupid.

I got an automated text and call from work last night that there'd be no work today. *Yay!* I went to the local Spar this morning which was extremely busy (funnily enough) but personally, the first victim of the storm was my bin. I put it out to be emptied this morning, and the binman did his stuff. By the time I went to bring it in, the wind had knocked it over.

I love this weather. I'd happily sit out in it, if it weren't for the chance that I might be decapitated by flying debris...
