    another workaround really. i think it's the video stream, has to be, otherwise it would happen on other channels & not just those from UKTV, no?

    can you try this to see;
    in your kodi video settings, disable mpeg2 hardware acceleration.
    on dave or whatever bring up the video settings, set deinterlace method to off & video scaling to bilinear

    ...

    Those settings are hardware platform specific. On the S905 boxes you get those options, not on the RPi.

    In fact on LibreELEC on S905, I am not seeing the problem at all, only on RPi.

    Can you elaborate a bit more on this please?
    Depends on the remote and TV, check the manuals
    If it's a SHARP TV don't waste your time,

    I'm using an ancient RM-F101 to control a 4K TV ,

    then again I can use the web interface on the Humax Foxsat HDR too :P

    haven't bothered setting up Edison remote for the TV yet

    I get the problem on two amlogic devices. Wetek play & an mxiii.
    Disabling hardware acceleration stops it on both

    Is it a pi 2 model B you have? That pi & my two use arm v7 architecture, something in that maybe?

    PabloAndRoy i've updated the backend the last day & it seems to have solved that issue.
    using http://build.mycvh.de/Tvh-LE8/4.3-362-27.08.2017/

    Excellent news. Now all I need is some time to do the update without complaints about how "the TVs are not working".

    Thanks for the info.

    :D it'll probably take you longer to download the file.
    One issue on that build is if you try to view an encrypted channel, it'll give a 'no free adapter' message instead of the normal 'sub. error'

    A lot channels changing atm & appearing in the channel list, I always check them to see what it is

    I didn't do the update and am still running 4.1...

    However I noticed that this issue is no more. Either there has ben some change in the transmission or the PVR addon was recently updated. I am not sure which, but for me the problem is no more.
