    Dave also has "Taskmaster" which IMO is one of the funniest shows currently on TV.

    The South Park movie: Bigger, Better & Uncut is on Dave right now if you don't want to miss it.

    I see Parks and Recreation is on, I used to watch that on BBC Four so it'll be great to catch it again.

    Great addition to FTA. It is getting much harder to justify paying money for Sky and Virgin basic TV packages

    Like has been said regarding Saorview and Freesat on one platform but the humax remote can be programmed to operate most tv's.

    Can you elaborate a bit more on this please?

    Has 'Yesterday' been added today as well. Dont recall seeing it before, plus its appears in the EPG in a default font. Home and Dave were in a default font earlier, but have since changed to their own this afternoon.

    i've a problem with these two channels now, the video is pausing/stuttering, it's not running smooth. audio's fine.
    they played no problem the day they switched fta. anyone know what's causing this?

    using tvheadend 4.1-2490 ~ LibreELEC Tvh-addon v8.1.444 & libreelec 8.0.1

    The humax freesat box remote is supplied with codes to programme the remote to operate most tv's, although you can't get Saorview through the receiver you can use the Humax remote to operate your saorview tv and the freesat box.

    I have noticed this also before on Yesterday, Drama and Really.

    I did a bit of trial and error and I can confirm that this is down to the htsp streaming profile. It only happens on tvheadend. If you can access the streams through some other streaming profile, they work fine. AFAIK, the Kodi tvheadend PVR client will only support htsp, so you are SOL.

    as a seriously temporary fix can you open the stream from tvheadend in vlc and see if it plays smoothly,

    if it does then make a stream on vlc, and add the ip of that stream in as a new mux with iptv automatic in tvheadned, and map that service over whichever channel you want and you'll at least be able to access it on tv if there's something on you really want.

    Used autobouquets to do a scan and both working fine for me.

    Strange I have no come across this problem here - yet.
    I watched Drama earlier today without issues, using tvheadend backend and Kodi on the PC.

    There is a VLC plugin to allow it to use HTSP. I have it installed here and it should be generally available.

    EDIT: Plugin info
    Plugin for VLC to access TVHeadend via HTSP.

    Some settings are available for the service discovery. Filter advanced settings for HTS to easily find them.

    URL format is htsp://{username{:password}@}server{:port}/channelId

    The Service Discovery module is listed under LAN and grabs the channel list from TVH.

    yeah it's happening on those channels as well. that 5 are all UKTV group channels, what's different with them that's causing this?

    recorded a bit of something on dave & it appears to fine. tried entering other profiles on the tvheadend client but it didn't recognise them - pass & matroska.
    recording uses pass so that's probably why it's ok

    this is more a problem with the client is it?

    the m3u i get from it plays fine(also uses the pass profile), haven't tried accessing it with htsp.

    i wonder would it work if i used the m3u & loopback address on the box for the iptv network?

    It seems to be an issue with a combination of those channels and the HTSP protocol. I never got to the exact problem, but it is probably a question for either the tvheadend forums or the tvheadend client PVR forum on kodi.tv.

    We were discussing it on this thread earlier this year: http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2057717788

    If you find a fix, I would love to know.

    another workaround really. i think it's the video stream, has to be, otherwise it would happen on other channels & not just those from UKTV, no?

    can you try this to see;
    in your kodi video settings, disable mpeg2 hardware acceleration.
    on dave or whatever bring up the video settings, set deinterlace method to off & video scaling to bilinear

    where'd you get that version, github? not in the repo for me

    the repo
    is dependent on the distro in use I guess.

    The 4.0.2 is the current version in the PCLinuxOS repository - the distro I am using on my PC.

    EDIT: The Tvheadend version in PCLinuxOS is
    $ tvheadend --version
    tvheadend: version 4.2.1

    The backend is using
    HTS Tvheadend 4.2.2-32 ~ LibreELEC Tvh-addon v8.1.111
