That could have ended badly! Fantastic reaction from all

I know , sandwiched between 2 trucks of all things. She only mentioned it to me in passing an hour before i uploaded it so I went outside and took a look at the footage.

She said she looked in her rvm and was sure the truck was going to hit her.

that's not true I'm afraid. Modern AHB crossings are operated by the approaching train and aren't interlocked with anything. Sometimes (in the UK where they move quickly) you could have not much more than 20 seconds from the lights flashing to the train approaching.

The point I was making is that the Polish train drivers don't appear to have a signal that the crossing gates have been closed, here and in the UK they do (minor crossings excepted).

I mean obviously that fella is a muppet, but given the wealth of videos in this thread of muppet motorists I think it's fair to say muppets use all kinds of transport. :)

    True, there are muppets everywhere!

I'll be sharing a video shorly with three dodgy cyclists :) It's taking forever to upload as I haven't posted anything in over a month! YouTube says 1 hour, 1 minute left..

Cyclists get really offended on twitter and come out in force against the motorist. This one was posted to show them they are not all gods.

My thinking would be "someone can't be that stupid and/or blind to not see me" and I'd probably reaction late.

One from a while ago. Guy in front hand been on and off the brake pedal for a while without actually slowing for the previous km (merging traffic on left lane if I recall). When he dropped the anchors I was lucky to miss him and happy I had a gap.

In Naas this time, Drivers to the right on the junction got the left arrow only as I went green but the driver heading straight on decided it applied to her too! Interesting thing is how obvious it was on dashcam with wide angle but as the driver I was looking at the junction in front of me. Was another close one.

looks like you are trying to lay any blame on the guy in front of you in the first clip. it was obviously busy traffic so you should have been prepared.

in second clip, "as the driver" you have a responsibility to look all around you and not just "at the junction ahead". mind you, that car was on the junction and was very obvious.

I wouldn't blame the brakes, they did all that was asked of them :)
Pretty much as Caliden said, I saw her coming from the left but for the first second assumed she would stop.

When she didn't slow down I braked.
