Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

You can't solo one? Just knock him down and put two of the orbs into the same shield generator and kill him with the Scorch Cannons.

yep i just suck at destiny. i can solo the story easily just not competent enough to finish it in the time limit on my own. Best i have done is get him down to his last bar of health with scorch cannons

Are you shooting his leg until he falls down? Once he falls down his head exposes a weak spot on his neck that does extra damage.

If your using a scorch cannon fire with RT/R2 and keep the button held down to charge up the shot. It'll charge three times (indicated by a change in sound). Release the trigger for extra damage.

If you fly in and your on your own, I wait till about a minute to go and then fast travel back into the same zone , you can do it around 2-3 times before the event starts and you'll usually end up in an instance with more players.

For those of you who are missing the Grimore:

When inspecting exotic item, you can read the lore of each item by pressing the left trigger (PS4).
This will give you the story behind each item - works for armour, not sure about weapons.

yeah i been shooting the middle leg and oh right i didn't realise there was a charged shot i just been spamming the r2 trigger..thanks for advice

you can get legendary weapon mods for kinetic weapons by thrashing legendary mods and then creating legendary weapon mods with the gunguy

I tend to only dismantle legendary mods that are for the other 2 classes that I'm not playing, as you never know when you might need the others. After 280 its not too much of a problem as you can create your own.

Just farm public events/pickup patrols for plenty of glimmer

Also I still have the knack for the ould exotics, 4-5 heroic public events = exotic engram for me

Mine has been very "feast or famine". One point I got 2 within 3 events of each other, another time I was doing them for a good hour and a half before getting one.

Public Events are a case of diminishing returns at this stage, got an exotic this morning and it decrypted the same boots I was wearing except 3 LL lower

Bought that weird Warlock Chest piece the other week.

Put it into the inventory of my Warlock yesterday.

Got an exotic engram from completing the story mode yesterday - Same stupid chest piece.

jesus lads its a fair pain to push past 283 , all these reset milestones and i cant get an engram higher than what i have equipt and all im getting is 277 blue which are too low to infuse , any advice?

Milestones should provide powerful legendary engrams that are 5 light over your current score (minus mods) or plus 10 in the case of an exotic.

The Milestone legendary items may not have a mod attached.
Mods add +5 to your light levels. So all your other gear may have mods on them.

You need to check the Milestone gear and see what it would come in at with a mod attached.

As much as Phone Apps are great and all, DIM is worth while using on a Tablet or Laptop if you can as you can seriously blitz tidying up your Inventory. Don't forget: stuff with yellow borders have Legendary Mods
