'Lost In Music', co-written and produced by Nile Rodgers.

Pity you don't see him often on BBC Four.

    :pac:

To be honest, I dozed off during In The Night Garden, it's like taking a bottle of Dreamy Sleepy Nighty Snoozy Snooze pills.

    Who needs funk anyway?

Felt a lil' naughty stepping into Skid's shoes, and giving Beebrock schedule details

Just searching Netflix there, it can be tricky to find out exactly what they have in their archives

Here is the code for 'Music and Concert Documentaries' https://www.netflix.com/browse/genre/90361

    and 'Rock and Pop https://www.netflix.com/browse/genre/3278

They overlap quite a lot, but there seems to be a decent selection.

Also, if you don't have Netflix you can get a one months free trial.

Welsh Megaman can't help but think he's been duped into watching a documentary simply about Nile Rodgers, and not actually a step-by-step on how to make it in the music business.

That DTT is one of the best classic albums I've seen. If the bands I played with in the past did 1% of this stuff we'd have been brilliant.

So we only managed -meh !:pac:

I had a jam with UsedToWait before (although he may not know that) so he's well aware of the sh!t involved in getting a decent band together. Would have been a good bloke to co-run a band.

    Hint-

He was on HARDtalk last night. Decent enough interview, nothing spectacular.

I think Oxford Polytechnic would have been a depressing place in 1980, being on the doorstep of the real Oxford University, and I think a visit from Tom Petty would have been an excellent morale boost.
