I'm pretty sure they know me at this stage. Nearly on a first name basis with them now. :P:P:P

Yea but they don't mind u calling. I already called same situation. Either way offers will deffo have to be out by next Wed the latest. Time to accept the offer and then 4 weeks to give notice. Some jobs have to give 5 weeks.

    when did you call last?

are you still awaiting sign off?

Any indication if they will be signed off?

    - the other day.

    - yes

    - no indication to when.

Preconceived assumptions based on previous intakes of when offers might come. I think they sent offers on a Thursday before and u had up until Friday to accept 1pm. Was that the last intake. Can you remember.

The offers were released in a staggered manner and in batches last time as far as I know they were released on the thursday and then again the following week.

Think the first induction week received their offers a few days earlier.

Nobody knows is the only answer anyone here can give you.

A lot of us are in the same position and it's extremely f**king frustrating.

When's the last time you called?

Some people are saying that HRM have assured them that they'll be signed off in time for offers but I've been told by them that they couldn't guarantee anything so it really is anyone's guess unless someone can get it confirmed that they'll be signed off in time

I called early this week. It's so frustrating I don't think I can wait for the next intake.

Firstly I Just called HR. File still not signed off. Was told they'd be hopeful that it would be done by the time offers are out.

Secondly what does signing off actually entail. Is it actually a review of an applicants full file by a higher rank or is it just a formality that once vetting is complete and satisfactory it just has to be signed by higher management?

I always assumed it was a formality, that they had a look at Ur file, browsed ur vetting reports etc. Checked that all the boxes were ticked and that there was nothing serious discovered in your vetting.

Mustn't be that simple though :-(

Aye that's all well and good but it would make all the difference in the world for us lads stuck in limbo with with high OOM's with everything complete bar sign-off to know whether or not we're gonna be in the running for the race at all or will have to wait for another damn 3 months. :P:P:P:P:P:P:P

Has anyone seen people from previous intakes missing an intake due to their file not being signed off?

If we miss this intake it will be going on 2 yrs come February. A long wait. Frustrating is an understatement
Emailed to see if vetting done, they emailed back saying my file was finished. 10 mins later emailed apologising and that it's actually still ongoing. Ya thanks. Get my hopes up and then turn round and say made a mistake. 😠😠😠😠

Yes I would say-so, a lot of people waiting for vetting and final sign off.

Waiting for sign off from senior management myself. Rang last Friday and it still wasn't signed. Sept 16, OOM of under 50.

I'll need to find out next week if I'm going down in the next intake, so I can sort out work.

Now you wait Leopold. The waiting game is entirely crap and longer for some than others. You may be lucky and it won't be a long one or it could take an age. In the mean time if there is any gaps in your vetting they will come back to you with questions or it will process to completion and you'll get your answer.

I'd say I have more chance of winning the EuroMillions at this stage.
