The DQ is a real possibility.

Yeah big time. The more the person is hurt the more he will revert back to his form.

I read a story a few weeks back about a Thai boxer who made a switch to Boxing and eventually became World super flyweight champion. He said the most difficult part of the transition was stopping himself from kicking. He said it was constantly on his mind, every second of his early boxing fights, It was just something he was so used to doing, a natural reflex. As well as focusing on boxing and on Mayeather, Conor's mind could be occupied with thoughts of don't kick, don't knee, don't elbow, don't pull, don't drag, don't wrestle in the clinch.

It's easier to do this in the gym, but want about when, pressure, when frustration sets in, will Conor be able to suppress those urges?

I think it's fair to say a large amount of people are watching this in the hope that McGregor does go off-script either out of frustration or some unorthodox strategy.

I'll be very disappointed if this is a run of the mill Mayweather fight. I want to see a Superman punch or an instinctive leg kick or something.

Just signed up, but I really think it is going to hit evens before teh weekend. Odds on all sites are still drifting.

Jaysus, never even thought to check, and it was me who requested this poll be added...

Funny that Outlaw Pete was pressing people to post bet receipts on who they are picking and he has not cast a vote

Outlaw Pete, what's your vote, or are you fence sitting?

He is pressing people to post bet receipts yet he has publicly stated he thinks Floyd will win. Doesn't even have the balls to state he thinks his hero will win :pac:

Pete btw I have posted my bet receipt but you seem to like to ignore that point...

I reckon he thinks it sacrilegious to vote for Floyd.. may see it as betting against his idol..but it's not betting. It's just a poll..

I was not taking most of Pete's posts seriously from the beginning as for me he seemed too invested in the whole fanboy of Conor, which made him less objective.

So, after all his posts intimating that Conor is very unlikely to win, where is his verdict on the poll?

Come on, Pete. You are one of the threads biggest contributors, as well as Conor's 2nd most committed cheerleader. I'd like to hear your fight call.

BREAKING NEWS. The Fight Is Off!.

Justin Beiber has just broken up with Floyd Mayweather by unfollowing him on Instagram. Floyd is reportedly heartbroken and in no emotional condition to fight.

If he has success i'll be the first to praise him . It seems like a fantasy though .

You went for the draw as per the poll?

Seems completely the opposite of your posts...you would appear to have Floyd a dead cert to win, like myself.

I knew something was up due to Bieber's fight call last week.

Was it a veiled dig at Floyd, or does he actually believe the fight goes the distance? And, did he call a winner?

Floyd by tko in rounds 4 or 5. Conor, i believe, may be withdrawn by his team at this point, maybe even sooner. Conor is a world class self promoter, but alas not a world class boxer- not near it. If Canelo, a genuine world class boxer couldn't best him, how in the blue hell does a novice do so? The only way he does so is if he goes off script and lands a kick flush on Floyd's head. That would be priceless.

Really can only see a McGregor win. He's younger fitter, hungrier and I don't think Floyd has ever faced someone with his power. I can't wait for it. If Conor wins I think he'll go down as Ireland's greatest ever sportsperson.

I must have a bit of whatever Mr Delly Belly is smoking.

Kavanagh just on MMA Hour recons one of two things will happen:

    1. At the start if Mayweather takes a step back it will be Conor in Round 6
    2. At the start if Mayweather moves forward, it will be Conor in Round 1

Mayweather stops him within 7.5 rounds (6/4 Paddy Power). Anyone who wants to see what happens a wild swinging southpaw against an accurate orthodox counter puncher should just take a look at what happened Indongo against Crawford on Saturday night. This will be the easiest fight of Mayweather's career.

    The mind boggles..

I don't expect JK to say what he truly believes...

    He genuinely believes it though.

He also said both camps dont give the other a chance of winning and one of them must be delusional. Methinks its you John. I like Kavanagh seems like a genuine guy but he hasnt a clue what he's up against here, its Jim Jones stuff.

Step away from the Kool Aid John

    Not great odds.

If you're determinded on that bet, better off going to Betfair and doing Mayweather to win, by ANY means, Rounds 1-8 (available @ 13/8 dutching).

However, I don't see Mayweather knocking anyone out, let alone a fighter weighing what will be close to 170lbs....... for me the fight has TKO written all over it.

If I wasn't a McGregor fan, I'd be all over Mayweather by TKO @ roughly 5/2 on Betfair.

Nice one for the heads up. That is what I will do. I think it will be over a lot sooner if Mayweather decides he wants an early night. I'm having a grand on. Will post my bet before the fight. Looking forward to seeing your fight night bet.

Wisaksil Wangek aka Srisaket Sor Rungvisai. Judges robbed the then P4P#1 Roman Gonzalez last Spring. The rematch is on the 9th next. To paraphrase Max Kellerman..if you are a boxing fan with a pulse, you do not wanna miss this card! It also features the US debut of 'The Monster' Naoya Inoue. Two weight Japanese fighter 13-0-0-11 kos. He's a phenom..and the rest of the fighters on the card are badasses

Yea that loss for Gonzalez really took the sting out of the tail of his reputation in the sport. He and Golovkin were on a roll, fighting on the same cards and extending their respective undefeated records. Gonzalez losing was not part of the plan. I actually watched the fight and I thought Gonzalez was very poor, you can say he was robbed, but for me he didn't do enough to put the fight beyond doubt

I have heard allot about Inoue. Watching a few of his wins on YouTube. I was hoping Gonzalez might fight him but it never happened. I need to see a dominant performance from Gonzalez in this rematch to believe in him. He has to smash 'what ever his name is' and call out Inoue after his fight, No more of this 'Polite little man from Nicaragua act' Gonzalez needs to grow some balls.

I voted a draw as a one man protest against the need for a poll . Its pointless as its clear how everyone actually feels . Conor/MMA fans thinks he has a chance . The rest do not

Okey doke. I knew there had to be some reasoning for it, as it didn't make any sense that you would think it a draw.
