On the one hand I'm really excited to see this tonight when I get home but then I know I'm going to be super pissed that I have to wait almost 2 weeks to get the last episode

Do not post anything about what happens in episode 6 on this thread until after it airs on Sky Atlantic next Monday, even if you hide it behind spoiler tags.

Anyone who does so will have their nipples wired to an electric fence before being banned.

I've no intentions of spoiling anything. What I can say however is that the leak is legit and it's in English. The visual quality is 7.5/10 the audio is 5/10.

Yeah I've zero intention of downloading this tbh. Will wait until Monday. So if anyone spoils it there will be fire and fury the likes of which the world has never seen.

    100 euro please.

In all seriousness avoid game of thrones stuff on Twitter. Arsehats are spoiling everywhere.

Just checked it there. The above is about right. Video is watchable and decent enough. Audio is sh*t and would really take away from the episode for me.

Will leave it until Monday. It won't be widely seen before then unless better quality comes out. Just need to steer clear of the obvious places.

I don't use Twitter or Facebook really do shouldn't be any issue for me.

I havent seen any spoilers yet and I dont intend to look. Only place I discuss game of thrones is in a whatsapp group and they've all had awec-esque warnings from me this morning.

Watching this episode early is a classic McCafferty maneuver. Anyone who spoils the episode should be forced to wear a McCafferty avatar for 6 months.

I haven't watched it yet but someone gave me a copy of the episode and I watched a tiny clip about 2 minutes in to see what the audio/video quality was like. I didn't notice any problems with either so maybe I got lucky with a good copy. I'm hoping to watch it tonight so I'll report back on how it was for a whole episode, sans spoilers of course

This song popped up in my Spotify discovery playlist, quite apt this week* I think

*Actually I suppose it's been apt most weeks since January

Part of me wonders if he hates the job so much that he's actually pushing the limits to see how far he can go to get himself removed.

I would imagine he simply gives zero f*cks at this point. I watched the press conference from yesterday. It was probably his most startling performance yet. You could sense the tension and the pure disdain he has for the media as he baited them.

I think he's just thick TBH.

Has spent too long surrounded by arse lickers and is not used to being held to a proper standard.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,433 ✭✭✭✭thomond2006

What odds he resigns soon and tweets: Fake News Media forced me out! SAD!

Has anyone seen the Aaron Smith texts? Almost parody levels of terrible grammar.

I wouldn't hastily link people the daily mail... But they really have done the most work on this...

The man is a complete narcissist who is utterly incapable of critical self awareness. He's the school yard bully who, when faced with any element of truth, responds with "I know you are but what am I" type crap. It doesn't have to make sense, it just needs to insulate himself in his own head from criticism. Truth, fact, decency and rationale are utterly irrelevant. He is the centre of his known universe, and any threat to that universe is to be attacked no matter what.

This guy simply doesn't have a strategy, he's not got some overarching plan that will make sense at any point. He's not capable of anything remotely like that. He wants to make big demands and pass responsibility for those on to other people. And if it doesn't work out he wants to point the finger at others and continue to have his ego massaged. When it does work he wants everyone to know how great he is. He's weak and cowardly, mouthy and aggressive. He's probably the single worst personality type to have in a position of power.

    @molloy

Not my joke but it made me chuckle

"The US Embassy declined permission for me to make a jelly mould of Donald Trump. They said I might set a dangerous precedent."

Hows he come up with his fetishes so?

Having someone shiy on your chest takes some imagination to consider that pleasant!
