Another season of value chasing and heartache lies ahead.

    These sites were used to track price changes last year;

(events tab of fpl statistics doesn't work at moment, this was where the daily changes were listed)

Remind me how previous seasons have worked in terms of when we first start seeing moves? Of course this week is a bit of a different one starting on a Friday.

It usually takes roughly 3 days before we see changes happening. I'd guess the first changes will happen Monday night/Tuesday morning.

I looked back, and the first changes were Tuesday night/Wednesday morning last year, there was a massacre of fallers. Surprised I forgot that, I distinctly remember being incredibly pissed off at Ramsey falling.

Here's to another good season gang. Wonder how long before we see a Vardy bandwagon!

Almost 8k players already on that train. Even more transferred Xhaka in.

Impatient casuals chasing the price rises :D

It's Vardy I was looking at. I'm not sure I'd do it, but I'd like to have the time to make the decision.

Funny thing is Firmino has been most transferred out for Vardy.

Firmino scores today it makes things completely different particularly with Milner not starting and Firmino now on pens

Surely Milner will be back in the team and then be on penalties when he is.

Hoping that more than anything, going on Milner's interview's last week he sounded like he was first choice taker and let Firmino take the two in pre season

No way any club could get away with Moreno LB for long. Was Robertson injured today? Or was that team picked with Champions League in mind?

I'd prefer to see Milner in MF but LB would be better than the bench

Bit concerned about Milner's price dropping this week as I have fires to fight elsewhere

Ugh Iwobi nearly 40% to a drop already.

I'd say that's just because they're the same price. But yeah, looks silly now.

Liverpool play again on Tuesday and then on Saturday again.

This must have an effect on a squad selection.

    And again the following midweek
    And then arsenal
This was why I avoided them early especially given their small squad

Hmm might stall on Firmino for now.

I forgot they play the second leg week later.

Will have to plan accordingly and remove one if necessary...

Yes, but given their small squad, I don't see Klopp rotating too much...he needs the likes of Firminio, Salah, Mane to play all the big games

    That's the point
Which is bigger palace at home or a very good German team in champ league qualifier .........and then another qualifier ......and then arsenal
The same team won't start all 4
    No way

  • Registered Users Posts: 48,129 ✭✭✭✭km79

Costa and bravo look very likely to drop
If you have either if those though you are definitely not going to be reading this or any other fantasy or football related thread :D

Xhaka, hegazi , salah and vardy all over 100% but it's always a bit of trial and error at the start.

  • Need another 1-2 days to consider Iwobi replacement. Will be annoyed if he drops.

Same as that but for draft. I'm considering two. Cabaye as he should return for that and will have a big impact on palace. That's the dodgy option tbh as palace were so poor but from a draft perspective I think decent long term investment.

The other option is Watford's Doucouré. He's 5mil and looks a handful. Watford have decent run of fixtures as well which is nice. I prefer to try fix a problem spot and give it 2-3 games. At that price you have no guarantees to be fair.
