Being linked to that Psg right back that can't get into the country at the moment. Would seem an odd one to me. Is he good enough to become our right back for the next 10 years or so?

He's a cracking player but has a bit of attitude issues IIRC, he's 24 now so would set us up long term alright. His appeal hearing is on 8th August.

I personally don't see him winning the appeal so doubt we would be signing him.

Whoscored have him able to play across the bsckline, true? If so maybe signed allowing us to offer up Darmian to inter as part of a deal for perisic

He assaulted a police officer so don't think the courts are going to look favourably at him. Its a brilliant deal for the reported fee tbh, 20m euro.. Paris Utd twitter account are pretty reliable with all things PSG and they are saying that we have an agreement in place pending the outcome of his case.

Edit:missed your question with regards playing across the backline, i know he has played a handful of times at CB for PSG the last 2 years but haven't seen him play LB for them. before he moved to PSG he moved between CB & RB at Toulouse

id be very happy with the signing, that same news site had us linked with signing him and matuidi this morning in a a double deal

I see Matic is just as bad a player as lukaku is now too.

    Bitter lemons.

Here's the tweet.I reckon he'll get a warning about his future conduct and be allowed to move.

Didnt Aurier not get along with Zlatan at PSG? Also he is linked with Spurs.

AFAIK they had a falling out alright but not sure whether they have made amends

Well hopefully if he does sign there is no animosity. I do think Zlatan will be at United this season.

Imagine Zlatan coming off the bench and playing upfront with Lukaku when chasing a game. From a physical point of view that would be a centre backs nightmare

Airier problem, iirc, was with Blanc and how much Blanc loved Ibra so maybe it wasn't with Ibra himself?

    Aurier apparently :D

Tbh if he loses his appeal he is straight off to prison for 2 months, and no hope of entering the uk. have read he has very little chance of winning his appeal too

I know Matic is tall enough but didn't realise he is actually 6'4.. some beast of a team Jose is building, and imagine Ibra coming back.

We will be lethal from set plays in FIFA 18 too with all tall players

Commentators on MUTV during the match today mentioned McTomminay is 6'4 and has really grown since last season

That quote from Klopp about us playing Ajax Vs them playing Seville... is that true? See humour thread

Now all we need is someone who can take a decent corner kick that beats the first man.

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 42,956 Mod ✭✭✭✭Lord TSC

I wonder if Darmian is off to Inter as part of the Perisic deal, and Aurier is his replacement?

We scored from one this evening and the fella that couldn't get past the near post with one is gone.

I saw Perreira taking corners using both his left and right foot depending on which side the corner was.

Dont see him as a starter come the start of EPL. Last couple of years the final ball into the box has been awful and really inconsistent

    Marci signing.

    Fellaini staying.

    A very good day.

I must admit I love the fact Mourinho says that Fellaini is too important to leave.

The spelling aid for Mkhitaryan came quite easily to me. I've got nothing here though lads, you're on your own :pac:

In PSGs first game after the Barcelona debacle, after about 70minutes a PSG player got injured. The PSG manager called Serge Aurier to go on. Aurier didn't have socks, shin guards or a jersey ready. He hadn't even warmed up since before the game.

PSG went about 10mins with 10 men waiting for him to get ready. He is complete and utter tosspot that you wouldn't want anywhere near your team.

He was filmed calling Blanc a fa**ot. That alone would put me off.

    I'd say he's toxic.
