It be fine in relation to our own players being linked with other clubs. Id love for them to take this stance with De Gea.

Oh come on, really? You're being ridiculous.

Apart from Herrera and De Gea, we may be selling everyone else. We wouldnt need statements for players we are actually trying to sell, use your head.

If we are selling, then its fine, but surely the club would want to keep hold of De Gea and Herrera, and a statement like Bayerns will suffice in respect players we need to keep hold of.

We seem to have picked two main targets that the selling tea, are being somewhat difficult.

Real seem to be looking for payback for the DDG scenario, so are being awkward with Morata. They know it's a sellers market, unless we want to pay even. Ore for lesser players.

Inter seem to want more for Perisic but the reports are we are hopeful that stalling for a few more days will force their hands, caus ethey need to raise €30m within the next two weeks or face FFP punishments.

Not panicking. I did hope they'd be done quicker than is, but it's still mid June for now...

I'm delighted that Woodward is being ruthless over Perisic, we obviously have more than one player on the list so he is our top target and he is playing Inter along.. if they end up getting the money for the FFP I reckon we will move onto the next target on the list.

If the bulk of the business is not done within the next 3 weeks I'd be pretty surprised, I expect late July-August to be mostly about selling players once transfers in are done and dusted.
