A second hand graphic tablet a friend of mine didn't need anymore. Can't even use it at the moment because lack of space. Moving out in a few weeks and have already planned my small little office space.
By now I probably suck at everything I learned and worked hard for in the past :pac:

Probably the worst impulse buy was when I was young and stupid, browsing in Dixons with no intention to buy anything. I walked out of there with a monstrosity of a 17" Sony Vaio laptop on finance, about 2300 if I recall. God knows how much that ended up costing me in the end. That was easily the biggest waste of money.

In fact in the same dixons I once stuck 2 creative zens on the credit card, one for me and my girlfriend. Idiot.

Nowadays I can spend a lot of money on an item but it's rarely an impulse buy. In fact I usually hum and haw over it for weeks/months. Prime example being a set of Bose QC35s that retail for approx €380. Kept my eye out for ages, just couldn't justify the price! Eventually a deal came along and got a set for €100 less. Couldn't be happier with them!!

A FUBU american football style jersey. 5 x times too big for me and made me look like Ali G. Never wore it

I occasionally randomly buy flights to places I want to go to... I wake up one morning thinking out of the blue "Whats Lisbon (for example) like?", by lunchtime I've a flight booked, annual leave and accommodation sorted! :D

    That's a holiday

Oh Jesus, now you've reminded me.

I went through a hip-hop phase in my early teens, but I was living in rural Kilkenny so never bought any of that kind of clothing as it just wasn't around (and buying online wasn't a big thing back then).

On a school trip to Strasbourg, we found a hip-hop store and I loaded up on Fubu, Phat Farm, Makaveli Branded etc. clothing that looked absolutely ridiculous on me.

But rather than be wise like you and never wear them, I decided that I would wear an oversized fluroscent blue with bright orange piping FUBU jersey and an oversized beige with tan trim Phat Farm hoody, and to top it all off, a huge fake Death Row Records chain....... to a hurling match.

I looked like an absolute twat.

Savile Row suit costing me £700 about 20 years ago. Pure impulse buy on my part.

Suit still fits, so no regrets on my part.

Recently, probably my glasses. Planned re-using the old frames and just getting new lenses, none of the fancy crap, ended up spending €500 in the end. But I wear them everyday so....it's grand.

My most pointless impulse buy was probably a freestanding boxing bag. Bought it, bought post mix to pour into the base with water, dragged it into the room....and I've punched it maybe three times since 2012. It was only about €200 but I loathe to waste money and it still irritates me, I'm too stubborn to get rid of it either so it just sits there mocking me daily.

Pity you've nothing to take out your irritation on.
