Good post Bonnie, sums up my feelings on the subject as well.

Some of those boys need a lot more than a decade of the Rosary to help them! :P:D

I couldn't give a sh*t either. If it works for the squad and they're happy with it then why not.

People tend to get their knickers in a twist any time religion is mentioned. I'm far from a religious person, don't go to mass unless for a funeral or the likes but I could sit through a decade of the rosary without feeling butt hurt. I'm sure most of the players are either into it or don't mind either way and if someone wanted to opt out then they would be able to.

Not long now to quarter finals, can't wait. What way do ye think times will work out given that it is Saturday evening throw in? Will the five pm / seven pm throw ins continue? I'm assuming that if so, we're going to be out at five given the Dubs will be on the ticket too?

I'm hoping Kildare beat Armagh and we draw Kildare, couldn't face another Ulster game and certainly wouldn't fancy Monaghan.

I'd say it's a given to be 5pm & 7pm throw ins, with the big game up first and Dubs afterwards. I don't mind who we play, all things being equal we should beat any of them. Leinster opposition would probably be nice with an eye to a semifinal against Dublin, but I fancy Armagh to get the better of Kildare.

Yeah I'd be happy with anyone myself to be honest. Drawing Armagh might stir the old early 2000's emotions.

I just can't be bothered adapting to more new rules if we have to beat Monaghan again. :)

Not bothered who we play either. Not taking anything for granted, we'll rightly be big favorites against any of them and should beat them but we've been beat in such games before. Will certainly be the 5pm game too.

I'm just hoping the pub on Cape Clear is showing it. Raging I'll not be around.

I see the other quarters are at 4 and 6. I really hope ours are too. Awful late drive out of Dublin if you wanted to stay and watch the second game.

Kerry v Galway is at 2pm and Roscommon v Mayo is at 4pm on Sunday.

We're the Saturday though I think so would be later.

So it's Ulster opposition again, as predicted. On paper, Monaghan would be the tougher test, being a div.1 team. But we've beaten better Monaghan teams in the past, and they seem to be a bit overawed in Croke Park.

The Orchard county seem to have a good head of steam built up with impressive wins over Tipp and Kildare, and they enjoy playing on the big stage. Jamie Clarke is a class player to watch too, pure skill. It'll be two cracking QFs whatever the draw.

Delighted with the draw. It's more interesting than any of the other options we could have faced. Monaghan wouldn't excite you, and we've played them quite a lot in the championship lately. Armagh is a classic encounter and with them on the way up it will be a good one to be at.

It's a tie to look forward to for sure, glad the draw worked out this way.

That being said. I'm really looking forward to Tyrone Armagh. Shame I can't make it and will only be up for the SF if it pans out like it should.

Yeah with the help of God it'll be a Tyrone Dublin semi-final.

The funny thing is, the last time we played Armagh in the championship we lost to them, 2014 qualifier. The last two times we played the Dubs, 2010 & 11 we lost to them, and the last two times we played Kerry & Mayo we lost to them.

In fact it's 2008 since we last beat Mayo as far as I can remember.

For us to play them we'll have to beat the Dubs and they'll have to beat Kerry. One or the other might happen, but on this years form I'd be amazed if both happen. If we manage to beat Dublin then we'll be fearing no-one in the final.

If we beat Armagh first of course.

You'll have had a good look at them on Saturday anyway. It was a great performance from them they won't be found wanting for fittness against most teams.

I'd rather anyone than Mayo at this stage Jayop even you guys. It could go either way.

Harte and a few of the panel were at Croker for the Armagh game so yeah they had a real good look at a very good performance. You'd have to think that we have enough nous at the back to shut down Clarke and Vernon looks to have picked up an injury.

I'd be very surprised if Tyrone don't easily push aside a poor Armagh team still in transition. I don't know what all the talk about a great performance v kildare is about.

I think it's a fair assumption that this Tyrone team should win another few Ulster titles or at least be among the top two in Ulster over the next few years. Obviously not saying we'll win it every year a la Dublin and Mayo until recently, but we should be there or there about.

The big question is who else will emerge as the next big Contender and how soon. Donegal probably need a year or two to build this young team, Monaghan are hard to read but really should have done better in Ulster and made the final this year. Armagh are a coming side again but hopefully we can put them back on their arse for another five years this weekend. Down did really well and that will give them something to build upon.

Ulster delivered some of the best games we've seen in a long time this year, but the province is far enough away from having a shot at Sam other than a real outside chance with ourselves. The entertainment is great the quality a bit low.

I'd say Monaghan and Tyrone will share the next few Ulsters.

Lol I don't know who that doll is but she's better looking than Joe McMahon.

It's on Facebook if anyone is looking. Organizing busses and meet ups before games. Would be good for away league games to get a nice crew in.

It's already bad enough I'm appropriated into a Dungannon crew for yer games. I can't imagine this would be a goer! :)

McShane dropped from the 26. That's the only change.
