That reveal was really not worth all the build up they gave. Still, at least it was only stupid this time.

I just burst out laughing with that reveal, it was bloody hilarious stuff, Angle trying to cry just topped it off, if it wasnt for Joe, i'd stop watching this nonsense.

I enjoyed the Angle angle (though got it spoiled just before I started the show:( )
And find it frustrating people are bashing it so quickly. Are we not always giving out about WWE not trying to push new faces, not bothering with stories. Etc? This should be the start of a massive, massive push for Jason Jordon, and getting the Angle tag will be brilliant for him.

I enjoyed the Ambrose/Rollins segment. I loved the apology, and the fact they didn't ignore all their history.

I'm delighted we seem to be going with the Four Way at Summerslam. That match should be phenomenal, and again, It's creating stars. Not just Brawn who looks incredible, possibly the best attempt at building a new monster in decades, but Joe, who has capitalised on a massive chance given in a massive way.

And Hardyz vs TopGuys was a solid match, with an ending that gives them scope for a rematch.

So yeah, overall, I actually thought that Raw did a lot of things right.

If this turns out to be a way to give a real push and not just a couple of comedy backstage segments before being forgotten 2 months later I'm all for this

Jason Jordan as the new wrestling machine is something I'd get behind

Remember Vince's smile at JJ during the WWE 24 special?

I reckon this is going somewhere for him.

I don't think the storyline is bad, but it is a bit of odd idea to go down this route with somebody. They could of paired Jason Jordan (and also Chad Gable) with Kurt Angle without the need of this storyline.

Why Jason Jordan? Jesus Christ. Surely Chad Gable would have made infinitely more sense?

He's not black though & having one Olympian be the father of another makes too much sense.

I don't think the Angle thing was bad really, just kinda stupid and definitely not worth the suspenseful build-up they were trying for.

It was dumber than a soap opera where someone wakes up from a coma and is a different actor. In 2017 can they not come up with anything less lame than that?

I hated when they earlier said it might cost Kurt his job.

Why exactly was Corey Graves involved in this?

    Also, this is brilliant...

thanks Virign for changing the sky channel names and not letting me watch Raw lol

So its not an affair with Stephanie thank god but when is it coming out Jordon is in fact not his son and only done it too get publicty ???

I dont mind Angle and Jordan being revealed to be father and son (the reveal could have been a helluva lot worse), but how on earth could that cost him his job?

    Its WWE for christ sake!

Didn't watch the post-Raw interview, are they heel or face? With HHH and Steph out of the way, it might be funny to have a Kurt completely abuse his power and have him blatantly fast-track his son to the main event.

"Brock Lesnar, at Summerslam you will face Samoa Joe, Braun Strowman and Roman Reigns......and my son Jason Jordan!"

So kurt banged a black chick in college who happened to grow up and became a pro wrestler in wwe.

This is why i love pro wrestling

That would be great. Just like HHH putting himself in the Main Events of everything back in the 2000's.

Triple H back in 99/2000 deserved to be there. Its not quite the same angle. He was a top heel keeping himself at the top.

Is this going to be something like EC3/Dixie's nephew in TNA? Maybe not the spoiled background but maybe a sense of entitlement, getting easy matches and making himself out to be better etc.

Maybe so, but absolutely not when it came to the Steph/HHH era. Opening every week with a 40 minute promo. It's because he was with Stephanie.

have a feeling Jordon is lying and in a few months someone will uncover that he is not angles son

Kurt Angle is a bad bad actor

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,585 ✭✭✭Jerichoholic

Peternity test live on Raw, outcome is he's not his son. Angle vs Jordan match ensues.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,643 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

I thought the reveal was a bit disappointing, although I like Jordan. I'm not sure how this can work well with Jordan unless the guy turns heel. If he's a face I think this thing will die a death.

Angle is a bit creepy with that smile

He is very happy and proud of his 'son'

I wonder what Jordons actually parents think

He was the biggest heel they had during that run, where else would you position him.

99 to 01, the best version of HHH. Regardless of what you think of his off screen persona at the time, he deserved to be there.

And whether people like it or not he was the best person to be the champ and top heel because you never leave your own company. Just like Lawler was always either top heel or face in Memphis, just like Inoki was always top dog in NJPW. Guys would push themselves/family members because they knew they would never leave the company. Dont forget in the time HHH was on top that Mick Foley retired, The Rock started doing movies and was very rarely around, Austin was injured and then quit the company. As much as people bítch and moan about HHH being on top it made perfect sense and did good/great business

I doubt tearing his quad a few times would help him if he were around today. By the time he was a top guy WWE were so far ahead of WCW the "war" was well over.
No big name left for WCW cause of that they were coming in the opposite direction, his injuries weren't career threatening & he has absolutely no talent as an actor either so that was never an option.
His family too owned the business so he never had the challenge of putting the company before them.
His run after his first injury was a mixed bag too. His rivalries with Steiner, Booker, Orton, Rvd & Goldberg were poor to absolute garbage tbh. When they booked him to beat Goldberg when he was so injured he could barely perform was perplexing, he ballooned in weight too at random times for some reason. Was good when he was invested like against Hbk & Batista but his legacy was obviously helped by who he was more than how he consistently performed.
