Indeed :( finding a solution for future links is one thing, but historical posts are boned. Think of all the threads showing mods done to consoles and boards, projects, arcade finds..everything really. All gone.

Even if you wanted to go back and change the links to new ones (which would be an insanely huge job), most forums don't allow you to edit posts after a certain amount of time. Certainly not years anyway.

Any mod stuff worth documenting I just add to a blog these days (not that I'm doing muh :( ) at least that way I've a little bit more control over it.

There's uproar over it everywhere, the word ransom is getting used a lot.

Wonder would they backtrack on it? I personally don't think so

No idea who's running it, searched the mobile number because nosey.
I'd normally be delighted but there's already 3 new cons this year with, at least it's a different from the usual I go to thankfully.
It's clashing with the new con being set up locally though, it's a pity.

Thanks, I got a name from searching the number but it didn't mean anything to me when I did, it's not someone I know from con circles since there was no mutual friends

Goes as far as that classic 8-bit console, the Playstation.

I always wonder how Alien would have done as a franchise with the model for that flyer in place of Sigourney Weaver :D

Oh man. A Night Trap style game set on colony being attacked by xenomorphs would be amazing.

No more tokens. All machines are set to 50c play.

Was there tonight..it was jammers but I was pretty unimpressed..really bad service , rude waitresses..gave up trying to order food..plus first machine we tried ( double dragon) had 2 dead buttons on player 2s side.
Might give it a try some other time when its quiet but was a big disappointment.

Running arcade hardware in a place with drink would be such a gigantic headache I'd say. 2 buttons out on a machine though is disappointing

I enjoyed a game or two, but the stick on G'nG is banjaxed.
The pin I was playing seemed off the level as well, but made for it by giving me two free games, making me appear like some deaf, dumb and blind kid.

Wonder do they have some testing procedure before each day or once a week or do they wait until someone complains?

Question, in terms of worth, what am I looking at for an unboxed Steel Battalion controller setup, complete with boxed copies of Steel Battalion, & Steel Battalion Line of Sight?
