    That was a **** show just as Dana White said it would be. Let's be fair though, they clearly sent McGregor up and then kept him waiting. He's not a standup comedian. Now he knows what to expect he'll be more comfortable.

    Overall it was crap. Connor wouldn't beat Paulie Malinaggi ffs. I'm convinced Mc is gagged in some way. Obviously he's not gonna mention domestic abuse but he could bring up...picking opponents at the right time, injections (brittle hands), IVs..

    Rebuttals? He had a whole load of time to deliver something, he didnt. He was really really poor. Looked nervous and had nothing to say, nothing there for him to lord over Mayweather, he just was really poor and I was expecting alot more.

    Like they know this press conference is coming up and McGregor could have at least been to the point, coherent and abusive, but he just wasnt. Also he didnt react well to not having the crowd on his side. and the Mr Tapout comment seemed to not only annoy McGregor but Freeze him as well.

    A rebuttal doesnt have to be instantaneous. It can be measured and delivered in his mic time. McGregor was awful yesterday for a guy who does normally bring something to the table in terms of presence. He lacked any.

    We are talking about the press conference, in which he was terrible. I watched the interview afterwards, wouldn't say he was much better. There was nothing to the interview and Q& A afterwards.

    I didn't so much say anyone got the upper hand. But in the final face off Mayweather clearly started to get annoyed, it was obvious in his facial expressions and body language. It was getting more and more heated and you could see in Dana White's face that he was cracking up at whatever McGregor was saying.

    I think Connor has an ability to just get under his opponent's skin so they fight emotionally in the ring. I really think that's played a part in a number of McGregor's fights.

    It may not work against Mayweather and he'll keep his cool, but I certainly think part of McGregor's strategy is to wind up his opponent so they forget their game plan in a fit of rage.

    Its all for the camera imo not one thing was said of note.
    Floyd ain't gonna go into a rage and forget 20 years of training over a few smart lines from Mcgregor. If he was that weak he wouldn't have became a top level fighter.

    well if its part of the grand plan it's not insignificant. :)

    I see what your saying @scumlord, there was some good jawing at the end.

    Has anyone used the option to watch these PPV fights via YouTube? I'm in Italy when it's on with a large group and happy to pay for it as a spectacle that people will want to see. Best option would seem to be bring a chromecast and use the YouTube option. Any thoughts or feedback appreciated!
