    So did they :)

Does however show that even being whipping boys in D1 is a light year away from even winning D2.

Will Kildare even show next week :)

Punching above their weight pat not fighting above their weight. The RTE gaa lads are just making stuff up.

Lundy another lad who shouldn't play for Galway again. All he contributes are fouls and bookings

He gave the worst individual display I can ever remember from a Galway player there today. Brainless.

Well done roscommon, the hype around this bang average galway team has been ridiculous.

They'll be ran handy enough by Donegal now too!

How does it show that, of all things?

Galway beat Roscommon and Mayo*2 in the past couple of seasons.

Ah, show the Rossie trophy presentation FFS. That shocking hurling snobbery there to cut away from it, for more gimmicky hurling build up.

That is desperate. It's not like they win it the whole time.

Thats Mayo, the team Galway beat. :)

Its probably the most competitve province after Ulster, anyone of three teams can win it any year.

    Congrats to Roscommon, some win.

Galway were useless, I couldn't believe the amount some people were hyping them up as potential AI contenders. They were awful at the back, and up front their forwards couldn't produce when they were needed the most.

It's shockin' when it's a final they are cutting away from. And its not like the game is on right now. So far, all they've shown is ads and crappy silly video monologues.

Agree it was bizarre. They looked passable at best in D2 final and havent even won a champ game in croke park for 16 years

They really are lightyears off AI contenders

That Galway keeeper has to be the poorest that I have seen at intercounty level- he's just bad at all the things needed to be a keeper (kick outs, shot stopping, communication with a defence).

The Derry keeper from last week was probably just as bad.

My arse, as much as I enjoy a good hurling game, the significance placed on a game which decides what team reaches the quarter final and what team reaches the semis is nonsense. Great occasion, but no moreso than any other provincial final other than Leinster football in recent years

Will roscommon get one of the qualifiers from b side or a side of draw for quarter final? Or is it open draw as to which remaining qualifier ?

    ????

I am assuming this is a sarcastic approach!

But just in case your mindset would be otherwise I gave him a link to a Meath forum, thinking he may not have heard about it! My post made it clear that I wasn't trying to halt his posts on here!

He puts in a lot of effort into them which the majority of people may not appreciate (personally I do). I just referenced a site that he may not have known about!

    Definitely made in jest.

Am I right in saying Galway plays Donegal, Roscommon plays Kerry and Mayo plays Cork next?

Galways "natural " forwards failed to score last 20 minutes against 14 men and again today with gale at their back
Not sure how comer only got a second yellow for punching either .........doengal will be licking their lips........may end up being a good result for mayo too

Eh, Roscommon only reach the Quarter Finals after winning that.............

Munster Final is a far more significant event on the sporting calender than a Connaught final . It is almost a cultural event for many. I genuinely can't believe anyone outside of the counties involved, even the most ardent of football fans wouldn't accept that.

And progress wise in their respective Championships, winning a Leinster or Munster hurling final is far more significant than winning a provincial final in football also.

    Galway v Donegal
    Cork v Mayo

That is the way the draw has to be now because Galway and Mayo have already played.
