No I was dragged off to dingle for the weekend, sickening to be missing it.

I'm heading down. Could only get terrace tickets. Ah shur, we'll see. Cork are favourites, but that's more the normal Cork optimism than anything else.

It worth going to see what they're like anyway. You miss a lot on the telly. I reckon I'll get it on the radio if I'm lucky. Although the brother is around this weekend with his daughter and she might distract the little knight for an hour.

Can you not multi task? Eye on the little girl, two ears to the radio. Nap with the other eye closed.

My lady is good enough- but someone promised her a playground today and I'm on the hook for it.

Nice to see Roscommon win especially after all the trouble earlier on.

Us Leitrimers are supposed to hate Rossies, but I love the way they powered through that match!

Here's ribeye today too, very noticeable that she favors the near hind :(

    Surely Cody will retire now.

It's the perfect situation now though to bring in a new manager.

Imagine getting lumped with the team if Cody went out on a high.
Every decision you'd make would be wrong!!

Shefflin in charge for next year is my guess.

Did you put the mother back in calf?

If so what did you go with?

Mother not come in heat yet but only been 2months or so. Same bull Ecolo again!!! But diet and plan for c section if needed.

Kerry and roscommon are in the QFs. Mayo v cork and galway v donegal will be the rnd 4A games. Various permutation then for the QFs. Galway and mayo winning means it would be kerry v galway and mayo v roscommon in the QFs as a repeat of a provincial final isnt allowed. Similar if cork win, cork v kerry isnt allowed again. Mayo and donegal winning means a draw for the QFs as none of them have played each other previously.

That's 8/9 weeks, could be worth getting her checked & maybe a CIDR if needed

Well deserved, if we had managed to win that it would have been daylight robbery.

Fair play to cork. I'm not impressed with the Clare management tactics. Free puck outs every time. No learning from the situation.

Very disappointing, if they played like that under Davy, he would have got slated for poor tactics..

Agreed, management have to take the most of the flak for this one, should have gone 15v15. No handing them puck outs and time to pick out a inch perfect pass into their full forward line aswell as having forwards to play the ball into ourselves assuming of course they'd lift their heads and look for a man in a better position rather than bombing wides from midfield. I don't think Cork are all they are being made out to be, we played right into their hands and their was only a few points in it at the end and we hit the post, the crossbar and missed a penalty. As annoyed as I have ever been after a Clare game, if we went out and played our own game instead of setting up to stop Cork (which was a complete failure) I'd be fairly confident we would have won.

To be fair Clare never looked like winning. Always chasing the game. Clare's big names like Kelly and Podge never got going. We had no real threat up front apart from Conlon who played well and McGrath fro most of the game.
Still if we had an extra game under our belt it might be a different story. Crazy to allow Cork a free reign with the puckouts. Negative tactics wont win games.
