What do you get if you combine the worst show on TV with the worst line of figures?

Its everything I hate the most!

Big Bang Theory....I can't even deal with anything to do with that. Its just this dull drone of not funny crap. With all the genuinely good comedy shows available, please don't ever watch that piece of **** anyone!

If you're playing them on a special PS2, you can load games over ethernet from your PC or laptop.

Apologies if that's not okay mods, just trying to help a man save his laser

*edit* That may only be PS2 games and not PS1 though

That's just PS2 games.... or else pretty sure it is. You can patch PS2 games to 60Hz but I don't think it works with PS1 games.

Finally rediscovered the name of an old MS-DOS horizontal shoot-em-up that I used to love. Was sure it was a Psygnosis game, but could never find it on lists of Psygnosis games...

    Anyway, it was Menace:
Menace is a side scrolling space shooter created by DMA Design originally for the Amiga. It was published by Psygnosis in 1988. One year later the game was ported and released for the Commodore 64, Atari ST and DOS.

The game was the first title by the Scottish software house and its success made possible for DMA Design to become the famous studio that we all know (author of Lemmings, amongst other things).

The game is strongly influenced by R-Type but this doesn't mean it's a clone. The big aliens with an organic look are indeed similar to the ones of R-Type but apart from this, the game is really unique. Initially called Draconia (which is also the name of the enemy planet that your ship has to destroy), the game was renamed to Menace to avoid an overlap with a game released for the C64.

Menace was a commercial success and it received very positive reviews, all above 80%. Blood Money, another shooter by DMA Design, is considered the (unofficial) sequel.

    Atari ST version footage:

I still find it hard to believe that I used to know kids who thought their Atari ST was better than my Amiga 500.

Don't know how they sleep at night.

    You're part of the problem!

I'm just waiting for the day someone buys me one as a silly present. It's going to be so hard to act grateful.

I have a Doc Brown Funcopop which came in a loot crate. I keep it to remind myself why I should never subscribe to loot crate.

There should be a special provision about Funko Pops in the Paris climate accord.

I know there's a good few Dark Souls fans here

    http://blasphemousgame.com

I missed this on kickstarter, tbh kind of glad I did, but I'd like to get this when it comes out, some of the Soulsbourne references are really obvious, which is A ok in my books

Well I did the impossible and held off getting that until the game of the year edition came out. I love watching all the lore videos on youtube so I'll really enjoy playing through it now and watching them :D

If only I had time to play it now :/

I've been let down so much by Soulsborne clones in the past :( Its easier to just keep an eye on them as opposed to actually getting hyped

Try Moonstone, it's like the Amigas version of Dark Souls back in day, it wasn't easy either from what I remember. The intro was great as well.

Just seen one of the most impressive Spectrum Next demos I seen yet so far. Parallax Scrolling, impressive.

New Turbo Modes have now been included also to have the spectrum next running at 7, 14 and 28Mhz (The original spectrum ran at 3.5Mhz)

Had a moment of badness and pre-ordered a Open Source Scan Converter (OSSC) ... whenever it arrives (90ish days) it might be on the Market Place soon after :D

Nearly ended up buying a knock off pokemon Soul Sliver today.

The min i looked at the kart before handing money over i was like this isn't a real one at all ?. As the coulor was strange and then the serial numbers and the markings where extremely wrong once i done a quick google in front of the guy selling it. I kind of felt sorry for him making him come in to meet me and turns out it was a fake game and i ended up telling him yah i would have bought on to i see it was fake.

As DS carts i know are so easy to fake !!!.

Don't they have to "talk" to the Pokewalker.
I understand a dodgy cart isn't going to come with one, but if you did have one, a dodge cart isn't going to give that functionality is assume.

I bought the DS Pokemon games new as I knew the market would be a minefield of dodgy fakes down the road.

Must get the 3DS games as well before that goes to hell.
