Lee Chin is a colossus here.

Cats and the Stone Throwers both in the qualifiers.

A potential meeting would be a juicy prospect.

Tipp would wipe the floor with them

So that's Wexford or Galway in an All-Ireland semi-final. Bar a massive shock from Offaly.

KK bring in the sub goalie to replace Richie Hogan with 5 mins to go. The world has gone mad

Last time that happened Clare won the all Ireland. Let's hope it's a good omen.

One of the worst misses you'll see from a free.

Looking forward to the Leinster final now but lets hope they don't let both teams wear their home colours as it was farcical in the league game this year.

That was Wexfords AI final though.

    Great stuff.

Much the better team, any other result would have been a travesty.

Galway destroyed Clare's sweeper system last year so I hope Davy doesn't forget that.

    Well done Wexford though!

True....which he hasn't done lately I must admit...
Chin was outstanding..the Championship will hopefully be a classic this year...

I wouldn't say destroyed. Clare were always chasing that game from going behind early. You will get two years out of a davy team and then everyone starts to hate him.

Don't like admitting it but Davy has worked an absolute miracle, fair play.

Great game. Proper hurling and more or less proper reffing!

Some terrible wides from free both sides but it is awkward pitch with the wind.

Wexicans are back, which is good thing.

He completely rode KK in fairness. Wexford got some really soft frees. Also what is the point of injury time if you can waste a minute over a free.

In all honesty, this was by no means a miracle or a surprise, that result had been coming since February 2015 as had the All Ireland last September.

Wexford will be quarter finalists and nothing more. As for Cody, I don't think this game will be the end of him but this season may well be.

Delighted to see Wexford win and they have definitely improved considerably, but I saw the first half today and have to say that was the worst I have seen from Kilkenny in 17 years watching hurling.

Don't like to rain on anyways parade though, it was impressive by Wexford. Well in control bar a leaky backline once again, they are on an upward curve and long may it continue.

what's the story with qualifiers? will Tipp, KK, Limerick and Cork/Waterford enter at the same round? some big games in store if they do

They do but segregated by province initially, Munster v Leinster.

Then winners in an open draw in round two.

Delighted for Davey. He's a shrewd little bugger. I know hes not everyone's cup of tea but I like his passion. Some job he has done there.
