be certain that a number of the emergency services responding to this and treating the wounded in hospitals are British born children of immigrants as well.

You could see this on some of the TV pictures.

Call it whatever you want, but it's factual, you can't argue against that.

Problem is that people like you think that closing borders will prevent things like this while actually ignoring where the problems arise from.

Factual isn't a matter of a few documents. If I give a cat a dog passport to doggo'land......it still aint a dog.

And no, my solution isn't closing borders. My solution, personally, BEGINS with closing borders.

And when it comes to "ignorance", I think there are a certain group of people that excel at it. I mean, 10 stars outta 5 excellence!

We get it. You hate Muslims.

The usual AH knuckle-draggers are delighted once again.

Maybe it's time to accept that inviting thousands of people from a culture that is largely incompatible with that of a western society, and which contains significant numbers of people who have no desire to integrate - or worse, see it as their mission to overthrow that society - might not be such a good idea after all!

That doesn't mean that people "hate" Muslims by the way.. just that these legitimate concerns can no longer be ignored by people like yourself who try to denounce any call for moderation as "hate speech", "racist", "alt-right", and other such nonsense Twitter buzzwords.

Far more importantly however, RIP to the victims of these latest attacks and hopefully the perpetrators will be found and captured soon.

Peanut allergies are a bigger killer of people in the UK in the last 15 years than Radical Islamic Terrorists.

There is no intent by peanuts to kill people.

I was born less than 1 mile from where this happened. I went to school with Muslims, Africans, Irish, Spanish..there was zero division, zero hatred, zero racism. I had Muslim school friends, they're still friends to this day. No hatred, no intolerance. Something fundamental has changed. Someone is poisoning the well.

Yes it's called radical Islam, there is no mystery about it.

They are a risk though. It is an unstable superstitious cult prone to breaking out into violence. Just because some dont, doesnt mean its OK. They are all vulnerable to the inherent problem in that religion.

Oh I'm not complaining about the guards. It's the ***** in these disso gangs that I detest. Gangsters marauding as freedom fighters. The guards should be able to spend those resources on external threats.

Pictures on Sky now of Met Police in a bar screaming at everyone to hide under the tables.

Cops having to use shields and public order gear because of the threat of mad people running around with knives.

Every police offer should be armed, and that means here as well. Ridiculous situation that they aren't.

Southwark Tavern. That's my work local. Really busy spot, I've never been in the place and it's not been completely rammed. Would've been hopping tonight. At least one stabbing reported there

The risk to civilian life, especially in a place likely as crowded as that, would be far too high.

Yes looking at a video on Sky News of a bar they were telling customers to get on the ground, I suspect the terorrist/s is/are armed with guns.

I just feel sick to be honest. We are sleepwalking from one atrocity in the name of radical Islam to the next. These are simple facts, yet we are too hung up on human rights bull**** to accept it.

we apparently chase anti islamic extremist supporters down talbot st and call them facist scum.

Send them in to do what? Take out all 3.5 million Muslims?.

Don't be silly, I'm obviously replying to the other posts which question if the police on the ground are up to speed with the immediate & escalating emergency (in the immediate area).

So your solution involves a time machine and going back generations, decades, maybe even centuries and preventing people entering the UK and Europe and starting families?

True indeed. But Islam being the most virulent and dangerous to the rest of us, religious virus out there, is the one that matters at the moment. The tamer ones can be sorted out later.

There's no intent by the 3.5 million British Muslims to kill people either.

If we're banning Islam because of the actions of literally a handful of people, then I'll get on board once we ban peanuts, cars, alcohol, cigarettes and swimming.

Vauxhall is more a residential/office block area rather than a nightlife hotspot, but Vauxhall does have a concentrated number of gay bars and nightclubs that developed there over the last 15 years or so. Ironically MI5 building is just over the road from that area.

I'm actually on your side. I agree that the religion of permanent hate is the proximate and lasting cause of such attacks.

What I tire from is these needless references to "religion of peace strikes again", as if it were a novel and original thought.

It ain't either. It has become something of a bore at this stage.
