There are people working non stop in just about every country in the world to stop these attacks, just because their efforts don't prevent every terrorist attack and they don't share the pathetic cowardly simplistic outlook of the world that you and your ilk do, doesn't detract from their heroic endeavours.

Don't for one second pretend that you really believe that your 'solutions' would stop terrorism, because we all know that's bollocks

Me & my ilk??? You dont know me. So whats your great plan to stop terrorist attacks?? & yes there are people working hard to stop terrorist attacks, over 12 last year in the UK so the attacks are quite regular. So be a big man behind your pc & lets hope none close to you are ever involved

Have you criticised people using it for their anti immigration agenda?

Really is a wonderfully humanitarian approach.

Where have you opposed ME bombings outside this thread?

This thread is a real painful read, "Send them all back" when most of these guys are born in the countries they attack

A tiny percentage are extremists, unfortunately it only takes one man to kill hundreds of innocents. A better effort needs to be made understanding why a percentage of them are at war with the west and why they are being radicalised to a point where they'll give their lives to kill innocents.

If a man wants to kill a large number of people there is no stopping him, you need to get to him before he reaches that point,

The stats have already been posted about the amount of Sympathisers. It is a massive amount of people.

Maybe if we don't invade and bomb Muslim countries for 30 years it will be much harder to convince young men to martyr themselves in attacking us?

If there was a queue of British Muslims wanting to do such a thing now this would happen every day of the week.

Over 12 attempted terrorist plots were prevented last year, it may not be happening every day but its quite a regular occurrence

That's not true at all in the Islamic world. Wealth - particularly Saudi wealth - has increased radicalisation. The ME used to be secular.

But Trump has just concluded a multi billion dollar arms deal with this very same Saudi wealth???????

ISIS have claimed responsibility for the attack.

Yes it will happen in Ireland, but you cant just stay inside either.

Its sad that this is now the way of life. And honestly think people are not looking any further then present and cant see that this is going to get much worse over next 5-10 years.

If my mother tongue is shaking the foundations of your state, it probably means you built your state on my land.

As you've purposely ignored my post to go off on your own tangent I'll ask again, what is your primary objection to burying these murderers in pig's blood? Do you believe they deserve better in death?

The objection is because doing such a thing only serves to radicalize more people and create support for their cause. You've very clearly not thought out the impact of such a poorly thought out idea.

Can I just suggest to the lefties here to maybe listen just a little bit to people?
I'm very left-wing but as with Brexit and Trump we're seeing the arrogant Left eat its own head. I won't ever associate with the far-Right but there are a large cohort in the "middle" who are sick to the back teeth of either being told they're too uneducated to have an opinion or for themselves or the "better educated" to be told to move along, there's nothing to see here. All it does is drive people to the Right where (whatever the angle may be) there are people willing to discuss issues and point out problems with Islam. For Christ's sake 22 people have been wiped out at a pop concert on a Monday night in Manchester and all the right-on people can do is say "Ah sure most of them lads are fine really". Wake up, be willing to have a discussion instead of branding everyone not on-board with fantasist Utopian delusions a racist and there's a chance we can move forward. Otherwise all you're going to do is strengthen the far-Right, destroy the centre and strengthen the scumbags who carry out attacks like these.

I don't believe cataclysm is on the way but both "sides" of the debate seem to be doing a good job of increasing the chances.

Can you explain how this course of action offers any solution to the problem?

So how exactly would your method deter potential terrorists?

    They're always doing that.

While I'd bet the farm on this guy being muslim, i'd take the claims of IS with a lot of salt.

Took them a while, almost like they didn't have foreknowledge and are just arseholes.

Ah to **** with the trump bashing. If your opposition to western involvement with Saudi is just contingent on who is running the US that's moral imbecilism. Obama used drones to bomb Yemen.

Not that this is a response to that bombing since the bombings in Yemen are against Shia minorities. And Isis aren't Shia.

I'd bet that whoever did it had a lot more in common with Thomas Hamilton than he did with ISIS.

Probably an ISIS inspired attack, unless the person is part of a wider terrorist cell.

Finally a person talking sense. Well done.

People will always have different opinions but shouting down on people is reason Trump is on power

And the culprits name and face should not be plastered on tv and newspapers. I know this may seem like we are going down the German/Swedish route of trying to cover it up, but these guys live off the notoriety.

We don't need security forces to identify the cause of these attacks anymore. We already know.
This. The Sun and the Daily Mail and all the other rags have played a huge part in stoking up these attacks. Between their constant anti-immigrant hate and their 50-page pullouts profiling every terrorist or potential terrorist, all they're doing is lining up 100 other young men who now idolise and seek to emulate the attackers.

In the same way that excessive reporting on suicides leads to more suicides, excessive reporting on terror attacks inspires more terror attacks.

If the media went down the route of factual reporting on the incident rather than wallowing in the misery porn, "BREAKING" nonsense and reporting every bit of idle gossip, then they would be doing a valuable service in reducing the likelihood of these attacks.

As it stands, the British tabloids are complicit in these attacks, practically willing them on in order to sell more papers.

    Who have Sweden bombed then?

So you think Britain dropping bombs in the Middle East had nothing to do with this attack?

There are a lot of people mixing up 'revenge' with 'a solution'.

There will be no solution to this until we remove or dilute the motivations to attack.
We the Irish should know this, THIS is what we have learned. Remove or dilute the cause of conflict and you can build peace.
The shame is that western governments, (those actively engaged and with the power) will again not realise this until many many people are needlessly dead.

True. You ask for stronger controls on borders and you have people calling you racist and lacking humanity.

Nope, id be equally harsh on any western leader signing huge arms deals with regimes whose links to extremists are suspect to say the least.
