3.) Height - I'm 5ft 5in and don't want a girl who is below too much. Nothing to do with femininity or masculinity rather its simply attraction. I tend to find shorter women (with a fair number of exceptions) do not portray a look of seriousness. Height is the main focus in a negative fashion.

    Did you mean to say you're 6ft 5 ?

At 5ft 5 you're not going to find many girls much shorter than you.

    No, I'm 5ft 5in.

Really, is it true there are few girls shorter?

1.) Accent - can be the most pretty and/or sexy girl but if she has that thick Dublin accent or any other thick Irish accent.....

2.) 'Traditional beliefs' - Can't really deal with people who believe in a 'tough love' mentality in parenting (even though don't want kids), discipline, advice. This also includes believing in traditional gender dynamics. Should at least be nurturing and open minded.

You sound like a dealbreaker for any woman.

Smoking. Eugh. The smell of stale smoke everywhere, shortened life expectancy and literally burning your money.

Aye, when you actually like someone the 'dealbreakers' don't matter. If someone had told me a year ago I'd be going out with a tone-deaf practically vegan who can't cook I'd have laughed at them.

At least the deaf vegan can't hear you laugh.

    A feminine laugh
Uses the word 'ye' instead of you
Makes lots of noise when they eat

I wonder how many people on this thread are Seinfeld fans. A lot of Jerry Seinfelds on here.

Well the average girl is about that height so there would be plenty who are below 5'5 as well.

Once ended a thing because she had a stupid looking coat. /dope

In a relationship, that's no reason to jacket in.

Quick google says you're taller than 61.2% of adult women here, but that doesn't really account for the shrinking elderly.

Oh yes, this too. Jewellery on a man is hugely off-putting for me.
A watch is fine but nothing else at all.

Yea a watch is nice but anytime I see a necklace or bracelet on a man, even if it's subtle, I just think of a 1970s Medallion Man :D

We are a petty bunch! But I find myself agreeing with a lot of what is said: smoking, jewellery on men, bad teeth, bad accent and I know I wouldn't be compatible with someone with conservative religious views. I went on 1 date with someone years ago when I was living in Dublin. We had no real spark but it wasn't a horrible date, I just knew we'd go our separate ways at the end and wish each other well. However, at the end of the date he pipes up and said "you're a lovely lady but I'm sorry, I simply wouldn't be able to bring you home to meet my parents. They wouldn't approve of someone as unorthodox as me"...after 1 date.

Did you not learn about gender dynamics in college like that shorty lad above?

Oh I have another one; ungroomed pubic hair.
    Guys need to trim too.
I really don't think I could sleep with a guy that didn't keep it trim, it would be an instant turn off for me.
Nothing worse than a bush, bleurgh

Hey man! A heavy day stacking sods and you'd also end up with a feminine laugh like us.
