2001 seems very late for that car. The styling is right on que for the age though.

I can totally see the little Nissan going up in price, especially in 2.5 years when it's old enough for classic tax.

For some reason I really like it. No idea why.

Does the Pao have the 1.0 turbo engine from the Figaro?

I wonder if that kit was thrown on it back in 01 to sell it. The Mk3 was available by then

AFAIK it's all the same under the shell.

The Pao isn't turbocharged though and had the option of a manual box.

Prices of these were always high and will go higher soon.

I had a manual Pao. I wonder how much the autos (which most of them are) sap the little power they have. They're grand as a city car, but it was really stretching it's capabilities to take it out on a motorway journey. Lots of character, and pretty tardis-like, given the pared back interior. Mine was stolen and written off. :(

There's been a bit of a revival of interest in them now they're old enough to import into the US legally.

(Edit, just on this. I love that this is an original Irish car. Must have been a very special order at the time?)

    Fold!

70,000 miles, depreciation per mile very high on that but like the man says "if you have to ask you can't afford it".

Current model A8 W12 is on the audi Ireland website "from €161k"

A sleeper too, looks very similar to the thousands of A6s on the road.

Something seriously wrong with the rear suspension.
Starts and drives... battery flat. Contradicts himself.
    Still some machine

A 140bhp vvti? Or a 192bhp vvtli (don't think the Mrs came with those actually?) I doubt it tbh, different generations so would be a huge undertaking.

    If it's not a typo it's most likely a blistering 100bhp 7afe, from the St Celica/avensis

Been looking for a second one of these Rev 3 upwards and noticed they are fetching decent money these days. Lot of car for the money...6 years as my daily driver.

On the 1.8 id imagine its a mistake but would be interesting to see

Yeah I think the garage just got it wrong.

I know these things depreciate fast, but that is a stunning loss in value in 12 months.

    Cost over €190,000 new - Now €119,995.

Bag it for €110,000, 42% loss in 1 one year, or €80,000.

That'd be a large mortgage in Roscommon.

Looking Daft I see that €200k can get you a nice 19th century detached three story house on five acres in Roscommon. I'd still have the Merc!
