    No airbag I'd imagine.

Never heard of it being a fail before - once the light was disabled. It would be a new one to me.

Don't get me wrong, its a great car and I'd love to have one, but its such a bland nondescript colour for a car of that quality. I'd have to have that in Porsche blue to annoy my neighbours or something more aggressive like black or anthracite.

The badges are still on the back so its not as if they went for the understated Q-car look.
    Exactly!!

As far as I know you can't disable it fully, now wiring it into let's say the abs light or a timer or something similar so that it'll illuminate and then go off after a few seconds is a different matter ;) not that I'd ever condone such actions

See I think that's been done away with now too. It was the case that once the light came on and went out again it would pass even though their was no drivers airbag. Now an aftermarket wheel with no airbag where there was originally an airbag wheel fitted is a fail.

I've no first hand experience of that but seen a few people on TOC Irk saying they failed under those circumstances.

Good to know. It definitely used to work but they did bring in a few changes last year to tighten up on modified yokes so they probably started failing on it since then.

Having to have a muffler at the end of the exhaust system is the main change that came in as far as I recall. Up until then as long as there was some sort of a tip and the car passed the dB test ya were sound doesn't seem to be the case now. A lot of the straight piped into letterbox tip boyos weren't best pleased ;)

Possibly the hardest sale of all time:

What were they thinking with that design., one of the ugliest cars on the road imo

It's for vulgar people. It's a new niche.

It's a strange one, it's actually the perfect car for chauffeuring. Whenever I see one on the road I think that guy drives for a living. But a bizarre car to own for yourself, it's damn expensive and ugly with no prestige or sportiness, you'd be better off with the 7 on which it's based.

In them pictures it looks like it could do with more low and wheels look a tiny bit too small for size of car as well.

Now this isn't something I usually find on donedeal.I wasn't even in the classic section.

You'd think he'd get rid of the rust on the disc and calipers before trying to sell that £37,000 car!!

Price is about right imo. It's 10 years old, petrol engine with above average motor tax and a SE would fetch a bit less than a M Sport. Very nice find though.

Nice yoke for 3500, 7500 seems a bit strong? You'd want to be getting into a rough AE86 that kind of money.

    Totally agree tfb.

She's far from the only one in Ireland either, I know of 2 that are tucked away.

Class little car though, as usual with oddball Toyotas - I'd love one.

Can anyone tell me why these 123d's are still crazy money. I've regularly been checking on them for years and even high milers are getting big money. I thought they would have dropped in price by now.

I'm the same. 8k would bring one in landed from the uk so that one is way overpriced.

Even at 8k they're still really pricey for a 10 year old car. I think there was one for sale on Donedeal a few months back and it wasn't bad value but cannot remember the price of it.

In my opinion, high mileage ones are worth 5-6k so that's what I'd be willing to pay for them... I'll just have to wait for further depreciation.

There was one for about 6.5k I think. They are my next car I think.
