I think genetics play a big part here. A guy with naturally broad shoulders who works on a building site may have a more attractive physique that someone who goes to the gym a lot. I've been lifting weights and working out for the last 10 years but you wouldn't think it to look at me. I'm fairly athletic but by no means have big arms.

When I was a young one, I used to love really skinny torsoed men, well boys really at that stage. With no hair, hair was gross. That was Depeche Mode, A-Ha times.

Now I don't like the lean look anymore, and I like a bit of pepper and salt hair on the chest to run fingers through.

I would have been repulsed at myself.

No, Richard Bruton TD, has a lovely toned long torso. Of course its encased in expensive clothing paid for by us, can't tell you how many time I lost the plot at the scanner in Tesco in Drumcondra cause he was using the scan check out beside me.

I disagree, if you've been working out for 10 years and you don't look like you lift then you are doing something very wrong.

Your diet must be very bad and/or you lifting routine must be bad
