Apparently his prison cell was 2 miles away from the Patriots stadium, with nothing much in between them. So he would have heard the Cheers from the stadium every second Sunday.

was he just another psycho or is the US culture of violence to blame for the creation of so many psycho killers? I think the latter, what about you?

Maybe he wasn't psycho, or a victim, maybe he was just a murderer?

Looking at it all, Tracy said there was just one clear path to Hernandez’s freedom.

“His only way out of jail is a governor’s pardon,” he said.

evidence collected in Lloyd’s death led to two more murder charges against Hernandez in a separate case in Boston. He has pleaded not guilty. That trail is scheduled to begin in May, but officials say it will be pushed back.

While the acquittal did not affect the Lloyd case directly, some legal experts felt it could have assisted Hernandez's chances in an appeal, since it was considered part of the motive.

---so if evidence collected in Lloyd’s death led to two more murder charges that were dropped was that evidence sound?

Yeah but...he was found guilty by a jury, right? And that jury would have been warned by his highly paid legal team about the "slight" nature of certain evidence, including evidence that might be tendered in an unrelated case for which he had not been convicted? A case being dropped does not mean that all evidence gathered in that case ceases to exist or be relevant, right?

You are lost? The jury were not privy to that info.
What do you mean considered? The jury were privy to the info so how could they consider it?

Just read a theory, which makes a lot of sense if it is legit.

If you die in a Massachusetts prison before you have exhausted all methods of appeal, you are deemed to be not guilty of any crime. So as of now, Aaron Hernandez is not guilty of anything.

As he is not guilty of any crime, this means the Patriots have to pay him (his family) roughly 15million.

If it's true then he left the world with a little bit of dignity. Still a murderer and a crap human being but did one good deed before he died.

ye the majority of what you infer is roughly true, its 'quirky' according to the Americans, he died conviction free, may actually have been cleared or the victim of a miscarriage of justice

An autopsy has shown that Hernandez was suffering from CTE and his family are now bringing a lawsuit against the NFL and the new England Patriots. So maybe he was a victim after all. A recent study found signs of the disease in the brains of 110 out of 111 former footballers that were examined. The NFL can't cover this up anymore.

BOSTON -- Former New England Patriots star Aaron Hernandez had a severe case of the degenerative brain disease chronic traumatic encephalopathy, researchers said on Thursday. His lawyer announced a lawsuit against the NFL and the team, accusing them of hiding the true dangers of the sport.

Dr. Ann McKee, the director of the CTE Center at Boston University, said Hernandez had stage 3 (out of 4) of the disease, which can cause violent mood swings, depression and other cognitive disorders.

"We're told it was the most severe case they had ever seen for someone of Aaron's age," attorney Jose Baez said.

Hernandez was 27 when he killed himself in April in the prison cell where he was serving a life-without-parole sentence for murder. Baez said Hernandez had shown signs of memory loss, impulsivity and aggression that could be attributed to CTE.

Still a HUGE difference between saying someone has CTE on one hand, and is not legally responsible for their actions on the other.

There's also a big difference between whether someone would have done what they did without suffering from CTE in events like this. Hard to say with Hernandez though, because he was heavily involved in gangs from a very young age.
