Anyone remember a bar from the 90s I think called Secrets and made by Nestle? That was another I liked.

    Wispa.

It was industrial taste of it.

You knew that they just hooked this machine up to a vat of chocolate

Topic, even though they're tiny nowadays.

    Otherwise, a Double Decker.

Tried a bunch today (once a year, birthday, any chocccies I want.) Had started out looking for honeycomb+chocolate, but then found this thread so I tried a few more. All were new to me, just moved here a couple years ago. So, my totally biased ranking, in descending order.

    Lidl Deluxe Honeycomb+chocolate - best
Starbar - kind of reminded me of a Snickers bar, but 'lighter.' Chocolate was detectable. Would have again if someone gave me one or I was desperate for a bar with peanuts in it.
Cadbury Crunchy - very tasty, but some aftertaste. Would pass on again.
Double Decker - a bit on the soft side, reminded me of a Charlestown Chew but the nougat wasn't as tough. Wouldn't have again.

The rest, well, I'm going to be even more negative now
Cadbury Twirl - bad chocolate weirdly 'twisted' into a not very tasty bar. Herself who makes candy on occasion said it's chocolate flakes that have been glooped together. Still, bad taste, unpleasant consistency and aftertaste.
Galaxy crunch - pretty much awful, waxy, flavorless with a barely detectable crunchy bit

My experience with Galaxy chocolates in general has been bad, I gave this one a try but no better than any of the others I've tried from time to time. And Cadbury's really living off its reputation, used to just cherish Dairy Milk, now, it's mediocre.

All were consumed at room temperature. Some might improve with freezing, maybe will try that in a year.

    Starbar
    Moro
    Wispa
    Raisin and biscuit Yorkie

    In no particular order.

    Double decker all the way.

I used to love Cadbury Rum and Butter.

Yorkies are a waste of money now that they have reduced them

Topics, Galaxy caramel, Galaxy chocolate, Minstrels or peanut M&M's.

    I love chocolate.

Recently developed a love for cadburys white buttons..

Cadburys is really gone downhill the last few years. Galaxy is where it's at these days. I was really disappointied in the usual Cadbury Christmas chocolate, it's all oversweetened since they cheapened the ingredients.

I like the Malteaser bars and Animal bars but Animal bars are not as nice as they use to be.

When I was a kid, I loved Bounty and Galaxy. I also use to love those cheap Macaroon bars and Mint Crisp. I think they cost 10p.

    I don't like double deckers!

I dont like Double Deckers and im surprised about the love they are getting here. The "nougat" in them is like plastic.

Star Bar for sure. Totally under appreciated for some reason

It's a great bar, but it never seemed to be that popular. I'm amazed it's still around.

Used to love the Twix as a kid, but sometime in the mid 90s they changed the biscuit to the more shortbready/crumbly version that exists today. It just tastes stale to me. I've never gotten over this outrage. Happily, the new bite size Twixs have the same texture as the old bar.

Toss up between Dairy Milk, Plain Milka or Malteser Bunnies.

    Secret bars.
They stopped making them years ago, I still haven't gotten over it.

This is an extremely difficult question - there aren't many chocolate bars I would pass on, to be honest, but these are some of my favourites:

    cadbury dairy milk oreo
    maltesers bar
    cadbury carmel
mister choc choco carmel (I think) - aldi version of mars bar and nicer imo
    terrys chocolate orange bar
    curly wurly
    wispa
    golden crisp/mint crisp - I'm not picky ;)
    double decker
Oh forgot any type of galaxy except galaxy caramel - that's meh

Green and blacks white chocolate, anything galaxy, starbar, snickers, topic, Turkish delight, the purple snack before they made it crap.. yellow snack, frys peppermint cream, bounty, double Decker and at a push, kit Kat.
Now I have to go get chocolate.

I only eat chocolate when I'm pregnant, doesn't seem to bother me, it kills me when I'm not. See.. that's why I have so many children :D

    Curly Wurly
    Snickers
    Moro
    Twix
    Toffee Crisp

Any of the above and I'm one happy camper.

Toffee crisp just never seems to fulfill its promise!!

And is always a let down in my opinion.

You'd always finish one and think "ah, that could have been nicer"

I could/will never choose a favourite. Never. That would be like choosing my favourite -- non-existent, btw -- children.

Every Parent has a favorite child ,usually the best looking or best at sports

Cadbury's Fruit and Nut is the best chocolate bar , followed by a snickers

Anybody who says Crunchie is clearly a Psychopath and we need to take them out before they kill again

Moro not Boost. So long since I bought one I didn't know they had merged (or killed Moro).

They were 2 distinct bars for a while so it's one or the other, not the same bar.

Snickers Dark. They sell them in Mr Simms on Dame St.

I always found that I could eat 3 or 4 of them, which is probably why I'm watching the scales these days :(:D
