Ah sure, I'm French, and although I've been here 20 years and can fool people for a few minutes, mispronouncing or being unsure is still the story of my life.

I still want to stress longer words on the wrong syllable, like "advertisement". It's worse when I'm tired, or when I'm thinking more in French at that moment.

Words with AN, I just want to say Ãn as in "slÃn" (without the N). Like mango.

Words that I can see come from French : it feels very wrong to say them the Irish way.
In a lot of instances I have no choice but to say them the Irish way, as otherwise the people won't understand or I don't want to sound like an oddball (like a girl in a petrol station, if I was asking for a "jambon"), other times I'll happily say it the French way. (like "genre", the Irish pronunciation really really annoys me)
