We could be in serious trouble if Kane is out for a while.

We only have 1 epl game in the next 19 days, international break and all that. Let's not panic yet.

  • Moderators, Computer Games Moderators Posts: 23,474 Mod ✭✭✭✭Kiith

Ah, i forgot about the break. Hopefully that's enough time for him to get back, and missing the England games is probably a good thing.

1 nil at the bridge, 2 nd half just kicked off. United had that tool Herrera sent off.

I'd prefer to play Manu in the next round though

My order of preference from most to least: Arse – MC – Chel

    Chelsea v Tottenham

    Arse v City

Away to Chelsea - I'd have taken any team at home, so that's a ****e draw.

The matches are at Wembley so no home or away.

I'm looking forward to it you have to beat the best at this stage in the competition

I agree. We've also been very lucky with the draws so far (no Premiership teams). Time to prove we're good enough to win it.

Fcuking hell. id rather play away..
Worst draw possible. We will get it hard to beat them.

Playing Chelsea, more than likely no Kane. fukn great!

Tough draw, and Kane out for 6 weeks (?)

So what does Poch do now?
Does he stick with Son ? A hattrick against a ****e team, is ok, but will he score week in and week out for us against better opposition?

Or just play Janssen now? In every game, from the start , not just 5 mins at the end....

I would go for Janssen instead of Kane and keep the rest as they are.

You could see Janssen was busting a gut against Millwall. Every single player congratulated him on his goal, he's well liked.

If it were me sitting on the bench, and Son comes on instead. I'd have fúcked off down the tunnel.

    Knowing Pochettino he'll play Son.

Hard league to adjust to, give the lad a chance.

Why not play both? I'm sure the opposition won't mind if we start with twelve players.

On the upside, I'd rather lose a semi than a final. So if we beat Chelsea, then the we really should be able to beat either of the lesser sides left.

Hope not, if we are going to beat them we will need our best team.

I'd like to see Janssen get more game time, even if he isn't starting, holds the ball up well and sets up other players, also should get better opportunities now that he will be playing with the A team.

Our 1st eleven just as good as chelsi's, hopefully the Wembley**** doesn't get to us.

Janssen will get plenty of time over the next few weeks, and this is as good a chance as he'll get to cement a place in the team.

Bring them on, we have nothing to fear. To be the best we have to beat the best.

Anyone putting up a match thread for tomorrow...I want to do my usual optimistic prediction and go for a 4 or 5 nil...

    I predict 3-1 with Janssen scoring at least once. ⚽️ ⚽️ ⚽️

I'm not sure he'll play, maybe a few mins at the end. Son will get to start after his hatrick the last day

I don't see Son as a striker - he's more of a winger/attacking midfielder. I'd rather see Vinny up front.
