Send the kids out to play and rest the first team, I say. Rest the XI for the final.

Rangers' bid to appoint Pedro Caixinha as their new manager ahead of Sunday's clash with Celtic looks to have stalled.

Out of interest why do you think it's looking like he's going to be the next manager? What makes you think that? Has he been quoted as saying he wants the job? Has he said it on a TV interview?

Interesting interview. In other news, I see Kiernan lost his appeal and he is going to miss the game at the weekend.

This job really just seems to be a poison chalice. Forgetting the mess the club are in, he's inheriting a side that are significantly weaker than Celtic, with significantly less money to spend than Celtic, yet unless he competes with Celtic he'll be judged a failure.

Should have given him a 4 year deal and let him enjoy the 10 in a row season with everyone else...

Happy enough with that. Kiernan suspended and Hally injured. Think there will be goals in this today for both teams. C'mon Rangers!!

1-1 FT. The lads did well today, worked their socks off, never gave in and deserved that point.

Deserved? Come on now. I'm sure even you can admit you were second best again today.... Your hardest won point this season, and all it took was a bias ref, a stonewall peno denied and Celtic to have a bad day.
You might not be catching us, but at least you aren't falling further behind eh?

Anyone know when the DVD of today is out?

Id agree that its deserved. Celtic didnt deserve 3 points with the way they played.

I get the feeling that you are hurting a little bit. :D

I thought we had the better of the first half, until you scored as a result of poor defending. Waghorn's miss prior to that was a kick in the stones for us. You controlled the game for the rest of the first half. Second half you were better until the last quarter of the game when we came back into the game and got the equalizer. You played some good stuff for the first 20 mins or so at the start of the second half. We deserved a point without doubt.

Yeah, hurting alright. Always gutting to maintain a 33pt advantage instead of extending it.
Ah well, our worst result and performance of the domestic season and it coincides with the second best result in your clubs history. That's football I suppose.

I thought Rangers were much more up for it from the start, pressing Celtic and claiming for every decision as if their careers depended on it (probably true with the new man in, he will want his own players soon enough). It is clear that the decisions from the officials favoured Rangers but Celtic should not have allowed that to decide the outcome. It was almost as if the Celtic players exected to stroll the game (and Rodgers as well given it was his change which handed the initiative to Rangers). Anyhow, much prefer to have this kind of result today than another repeat of last year in the Semis

Stonewall peno turned down. What other league in the world would have an ex-season ticket holder reffing a game???

It's easy to point to that, but Celtic should have been home and dry by that stage. Only themselves to blame for not showing up
