    Coutinho.

Just deciding between Mane and Cout myself. Had a look at stats last 4 GW. Cout 20 shots to 9, 11 in the box to 7 from Mane. 9 chances created to 7 in favour of Cout. Cout on corners also. Interesting.

The difference is Mané is a much better finisher than Coutinho and needs less chances to deliver points so I think he's worth the extra money over Cout/Firm.

Yeah coutinho is a statistical wet dream but in reality he shoots from absolutely anywhere whether it's on or not, Mane gets more points that's the only stat I care about.

Did Ibra to Llorente. So now I have 3 swans players, which is far more than I want but can't see anyone else in there to get for him. 3 swans players, ugh....
Might do Pieters to Funes too actually...

I'm thinking of going without lukaku.

    Keeping Aguero?

    Doing Zlatan to Lukaku now.

    Aguero, Stanislas, Sterling, PVA out
    Mane, Coutinho, Coleman, Llorente in

Did Coleman & Llorente last night, the others tonight. -12 that hopefully pays off.

    Jaku,
    Coleman, Brunt, Holgate (?)
    Mane, Coutinho, Siggy, Carroll
    Llorente, Lukaku

Others: Grant, Alonso, Hazard, Costa, Walker

My first -8 of the season for Benteke, Sanchez and Stanislas to Lukaku, Barkley and King.

Gives me 10 potential starters (holgate and Phillips the dodgy ones) and also sets me up better for the coming weeks...finally rid of Benteke. Sanchez out is a risk, but I have Aguero in now and think he is going to be essential from now until the end of the season.

Thinking of Andy Carroll over Lukaku. Is that mental? or maybe Snodgrass over Mane. Two transfers, Aguero and Sane out i think. Citehs fixtures and Champs League could impact them

I'm looking for an differential to Mane and Lukaku and thats the best ive come up with, i suppose Siggy and Llorrente. Anyone else i'm not thinking of? Firmino/Coutinho/Barkley. I'll go with the Sane and Lukaku in absence of an alternative, just dont want to do the obvious if theres something else out there.

    There are only 4 games
    Won't be many big scores
I'd go with the obvious !

I was trying to bring the weeks after in to my thinking. West Ham and Swansea have favourable fixtures

You have to have lukaku next week much as it pains me
Himself and Liverpool mods are the obvious captaincy choices
It's likely to be a lean week for most so if you don't have them and they score double digits you will be in big trouble

West ham can have all the good fixtures they want
    They are playing absolute rubbish

So long Zlatan, welcome back Rom.

Will have 13 for this week amazingly - I think it's fair to say I may have slightly overplanned it :-)

Keeping Zlatan and having no Spurs or Chelsea attackers for the last couple of weeks is the biggest booboo I've made playing this game....so far.

Will be lining out as follows:

    Heaton

    Smith Brunt Coleman

    Siggy Antonio Grosicki Mané Barkley

    Carroll Lukaku

    Subs: Foster Amat Azpi Aguerooooo

Could be an OK week if the likes of Grosicki and Antonio do the business

Looks like XI for me too...
    Foster
    Lovren Daniels Coleman Maguire
    Siggy Philips Mane Fletcher
    Carroll Lukaku

    Next week..... wildcard

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,681 ✭✭✭elefant

    Randolph
    Brunt Ranocchia Coleman Nyom
    Brady Barkley
    Carroll

Even playing in a draft league where a lot of players are unavailable to me, that is quite possibly the weirdest starting team I'll ever send out. If I can break 30 that would be nice.

Have to have a good look at it. To get lukaku I basically have to sell aguero. I think I prefer to keep aguero.

I have Lukaku, Aguero and Ibra and will get Kane for Ibra next week. Hard to pass having the 2 lads battling for the golden boot in your side from here on, plus Evertons fixtures are excellent either side of the Liverpool and United away games in 30 & 31.

I'm slightly tempted to do Lukaku to Vardy for a 2 week punt for those weeks - Leicester have Stoke and Sunderland at home....

Coming back to GW28, I'm currently starting the following 9 with my FT done.

    Jak,
    Brunt, Mawson, FunesMori
    Phillips(?), Siggy, Mane, Carroll,
    Lukaku.

Blanks: Pickford, Alonso, Chambers, Sterling, Ibra, Aguero.

I could just leave it at that, but I want Phillips gone next week for sure and probably not keeping Sterling either.

So I'm open to doing a -4 for Sterling to anyone. I've 3m in the bank.

I'll probably keep enough to get Pedro from GW29 giving me 9.2m for a Sterling replacement.

Firmino is the obvious move isnt it? West Ham have also got great fixtures and cheaper options but I hear they were poor last night. Anyone else I should consider.

Front 7 below looks decent from 29 with wildcard still in hand....
    Mane, Firmino, Siggy, Pedro
    Kane, Aguero, Lukaku.

If the need arises to get Sanchez it can be done by changing Aguero to pretty much anyone and dropping one Liverpool mid.

    What am I missing??

Your well set up there but knowing how this game works you will be probably beaten by a load of teams with 4 and 5 players in it.

I've transferred Zlatan for Kane successfully over the weeks, not last weekend though!!
I'm bringing Llorente in for Zlatan, will bring Kane in next week.

    Foster
    Daniels Robertson
    Davies Antonio philips (?)
    Lukaku

Pickford Aguero Sterling Jones Alonso Sanchez Gabbiandini

Only 1 Ft. any suggestions as I don't plan to use my WC awhile. On first glance I've thought about
    Sterling - Siggy
Sanchez - Mane for a -4 anyone see any better moves?

I'm looking at doing something 'dull' with my FT like De Roon to Tom Carroll.

    Currently have:
    Jakupovic
    Funes Mori, Brunt, Evans
    Firmino, Siggy
    Lukaku

Hennessy, Alonso, Friend, Pedro, Eriksen, De Roon, Kane, Aguero

I'm reluctant to take a hit for the sake of it. Lukaku, Kane and Aguero is the ideal strikeforce for the next few weeks so don't really want to bring in Llorente (or Carroll!) for a one week punt. I will need a transfer in GW29 to dump one of my WBA defenders.

In midfield I can't get Mane without losing Aguero or Kane and even at that, Eriksen (who I'd swap out for Mane) has great fixtures.

I'm also reluctant to drop Friend for Mawson for a -4.

I think I'm going to roll with 8, but if anyone has any comments, fire ahead!

Junior Stanislas looks set to miss between “seven and 10 days” with the groin injury which ruled him out at OT on Saturday. #AFCB

Assume that's meant to be Mane? Sane doesn't have a game GW28

Transfers made -4. Aguero and Sane out for Llallana and Lukaku.
    GW28
    No Keeper
Brunt, Fernandez, Robertson, Funes Mori, Cook
    Llalana Mirallas
    Barnes Lukaku

Bench of Kane, Hazard Hennessy Eriksen Pogba,
Went for Llalana over the other pool mids to save money to upgrade Barnes or two defenders. Team is crying out for WC, need to get through another few weeks.

Going for an unorthodox 1-4-1-1 formation this week. The opposition won't know what hit them.
