Did anyone get a call from Henry St? None here yet and I'll be there for the midnight launch. Nervous!

I haven't had a call from wexford yet but I'm not concerned, might be able to swing by there sometime before(or early on)thursday.

Pay off the last bit and then come back at night to get it.

    a call about what?

Few people in the thread mentioning GS are calling people with pre-orders to confirm for a midnight launch.

    Half 10 seems very early

Would people be queuing that early?

Got a few bob tax back so I am going to pick up the pro controller and Bomberman along with Zelda and pay it off fully tomorrow. Looking forward to Friday now, pity I am working in Dublin that day, will be late Friday evening before I can get started. Will get herself to collect it Friday morning for me.

You'd be surprised. I arrived at Liffey St for the Xbox One launch at about 11 IIRC and there were people (and admittedly free pizza) in store.

Oh yeah. People start queuing early evening, depending on demand.

I would understand if you didn't have a preorder and hoping for the spares

But since you are certain to get one I don't see the point queuing that early

But now that you've mentioned it I might drive by early and see if there's a queue I'll join it
    Otherwise swing by McDonald's first

I preordered with Smyths in store and promptly lost my receipt. When I went back in the staff didnt seem too happy about finding my order on their system even though they alluded to it being possible.

I ordered online, contacted them via chat a few weeks ago, they confirmed its on for launch day and will be available at midnight. But they wouldn't let me change which store it was going to, or from Grey to neon, suggesting they weren't just telling me what I wanted to hear

yer one was telling me, they won't be able to sell it that early but they'll have free pizza, drinks and switch stands set up so people can have a try of it.
