Just took the Friday off. First time ever doing so for anything videogame related! Zelda better be worth it.

Must avoid thread.....must not get caught in any vicious hype train and spunk loads of money on a console I have been giving out about for weeks.....

First game using only touch screen controls, and can't be played while the console is docked....

Interesting, probably will see a lot of Android ports if that's the case....

Me too, except mine is a little different in that I'm getting laid off this Thursday. The day before release. Nice timing!

Gotta postpone my Switch purchase for a few weeks until I get called back. Ragin.

    Guess I am too... :(

Only add my NCT that morning, and minus the jog...

Surely the solution is to pair a 2nd switch to the docked switch to act as controller when in TV mode?
    Sploosh!

Or just allow use of a Wii U Gamepad or 3DS

GameStop have fixed up their Joy-Con listings now. €90 for just the neon Joy-Cons, €100 with Snipperclips.

My online order details still link to the newer bundle with Snipperclips with the release date of the 10th. Guess I'll have to contact them. Kinda worried I'll miss out on Zelda now as the money for the Switch order from them was taken yesterday, but still nothing taken from the accessories order with the neon Cons

    Strangely accurate, but wrong order...

Pick up Switch at 9, gym at 9:30, porridge and Zelda for breakfast at 10:30. :)

i imagine you pick up your switch and the excitement leads to skipping the gym

    Anyone any experience with Very?
Apparently they have £30 off your 1st order. And they have Pro Controllers.

However I'm finding them to be a bugger to deal with to open an account.

Quality of life platform! Switch + Treadmill = When you run, Link runs.

Hope your gym has a climbing wall...

Nope... I've toned up nicely in the last 4 months by not skipping the gym on a whim. An extra hour won't kill me. :)

This would be interesting I guess the 3DS connectivity would be more likely*
i.e. not very, but more likely than the Wii U gamepad

Porridge and coffee before the gym too.

I'm hoping it catches on with Japanese developers and they migrate there from the 3DS. Western developers are too focused on producing games for high end machines so see very little interest coming from that end. Anyone thinking they'll be playing games from the PS4 and One outside of indie offerings on the system is buying the wrong systems.

It needs to offer something unique from those two machines and with those two being so similar it will hopefully help it stand out.

One thing that is going to be sorely missed is street pass. Street pass has been a huge hit at conventions and the like and probably helped get the 3DS into a lot of people's hands by giving it exposure.

Hi, can this still be ordered in Ireland, promised my son it before Christmas, and panicking a bit because, I tried Gamestop and Argos, and no luck, thanks in advance?

A friend of mine emailed Smyths today to see could he still pre order for release day delivery and the they said yes he would get it on release day.

Probably better off calling into one of their stores and pre ordering.

Argos doesn't do preorders so you should be able to pick one up there depending on stock.

Rang Gamestop today about my pre order. I'll cancel it in the next couple of days. They had rang on Saturday but I missed the call. They just wanted to tell me that they were having a midnight launch. And I told ye this before but she said that if I wanted games that I need to pre order them now as there will be very few if any on the shelves.
