The lads in RJ Carbon dont say very much,they just take in the parts and take down your number.

More parts gone down to RJ carbon this morning.

Galfer front/rear discs,EBC pads,HEL braided lines,DID 520 pitch chain kit and GP Lightech chain adjusters all fitted to the S1000rr.
Oh and the Renthal grips,which were a right b^stard to fit.

Also thanks to the lads in Joe Duffy,the Motodynamic flush mount indicators now work perfect,canbus rejig and a resistor in the rear LED tail light unit sorted the problem for me.

Now that I think about it I think it was €120.
I bought it around 2 months ago and I think at the time it seemed like getting 4 litres for free.

Ilmberger carbon race bellypan for S1000rr

Added some SBK decals to the bellypan today.
Also added some extra heat reflective tape too.
Theres a bit of trimminmg of the internal cowling to be done in order to fit the Ilmberger race bellypan to the road bike.

Today I took the 996 monoposto seat and the S1000rr seat to be trimmed in carbon fibre effect seat covers.
Will have them back on Thursday.

M7rr 120/70/17 front and 200/55/17 rear on the S1000rr now.

HEL braided lines leaking like fcuk on the S1000rr.
Back to Joe Duffy BMW this morning with the bike,and they discovered the problem.
HEL only provide normal copper crush washers with the S1000rr kit.
But on the S1000rr the OEM banjo bolt washers have a teflon ring built into the washer itself,it kinda sits into a small grove in the ABS pump housing.

So the abs and traction control systems are recalibrated for the wider 200 section rear tyre and the OEM banjo bolts and washers are fitted to the HEL lines to solve the leaking brake fluid problem.
Thanks to Dermot up in Joe Duffys for sorting it out.

Will be calling HEL tomorrow to notify them of this little issue.

@stewy I had a cut of a 2016 s1000rr last week.
They are a fine machine.
Was surprised how comfortable it was and the quickshifter is class.
Couldn't find the dipped beam switch with all the buttons.
The lad that owns it turned off the traction control and put it in Sport mode.
I promised him I'd take it handy.
I wont lie, I didn't even attempt to take it handy.
Couldn't help it the urge just came over me!!!:D

Dip beam switch on never beemers is on the left, you push the flasher switch forward to go full beam.

Yeah they are comfy bikes to ride,but it just wants to go fast and it urges you to give it more and more.

Stick it in "slick" mode (requires red slick plug to be installed) and that will make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up,thats when its turns into an absolute missile of a bike..;):D

Its turns the bike into a lunatic of a bike.It kinda does the same to brain aswell,once you get a feel for it in slick mode.
I was shocked at how sharp the throttle and engine response became when I selected it for the 1st time.
Sport and race modes are great,but "slick" is mental.:eek::D

I'm 140 miles from Dublin stewy but thanks for the offer.
The lad that owns the one I rode probably doesn't even know about the slick plug so I'll say it to him.
I was expecting it to be a handful when pushing it but as quick as it is, it is very easy to handle.
I better stop on about one or I'll end up talking myself into getting one!!:o

He might need to get it off BMW though,unless its on the bike allready.
Slick plug install socket is down beside the tank,when you take off the seat,you cant miss it,its RED.:D
But its meant for track only and racing slicks.
