Any chance you could link me to a fools guide to VPN? I had a look on a few sites but couldn't get anywhere. I have a paid subscription to unlocator but haven't a clue how to use their VPN setup.

I just downloaded Opera VPN (Free), opened the app, selected connect, have an option to select region, select Canada. I then went to settings- system update, select update,
Just did it and it updated straight away. Thanks.

Just tried again this morning on VPN and it's coming through this time :)

I had an issue where I had trusted locations set up on the phone. These seem to be working fine in 4.0.1 but never worked in 4.0.2
I am hoping this might have been fixed for 4.0.3 even though there's nothing in the changelog.

Anyone else use trusted places and been having issues with it?

Just to update 4.0.3 has indeed fixed the issue I was having with trusted places not working! :)

I have 4 home screens, and on the 4th one is just two folders with about 8 apps in each. I've noticed that if I swipe to the 4th screen sometimes it's totally empty - I have to swipe back to the 3rd then back to the 4th to show the two folders. Anyone else get this?

I had this for a while a few days ago, using Nova launcher. I was also getting terrible lag throughout the whole OS, seemingly at random, where only a reboot would fix it. Happened a couple of times over about 5 days - was going to do a factory reset this weekend but I have had no reoccurrence of either the home screen or lag issues for days now so maybe it sorted itself out.
I uninstalled a number of apps the other day so maybe it was one of them that was causing it....

For anyone interested, sent my phone away on Monday to have the battery replaced, arrived back on Friday from OP service centre in Poland.

    Good service :-)

    Hi
I am having a problem with my OnePlus 3. When I turn on Bluetooth, the audio stops working. Has anybody come across this before or know how to resolve it please?
    Thanks

That was happening to me until I realised it was pairing with the car outside. Just check it isn't auto pairing to a device when you turn it on.

    Hi all,

Herself has a Oneplus 3 and after some initial teething problems it's running like a dream (had to go back for repair of a random reset problem).

I'm about to purchase a dual sim phone myself now and the OnePlus 3T seems to be the best candidate. Anyone have any comments to make good or bad .... has anyone used both the 3 and the 3T - much difference?

I have used both, not a huge difference in day to day use. Few things are better like the battery life, selfie camera etc.

If you like Oneplus 3 then you can go wrong with 3T.

Any major reasons (storage isn't one) to move from 3 to 3T?

No reason whatsoever according to the reviews I've read. The changes aren't worth chasing if you've already got a OP3.

What cases can people recommend? Looking for something that doesn't add too much bulk

I have the Spigen case, very happy with it. Grip is good, offers a good level of protection and doesn't add too much bulk.

No major reason as such. Got decent price for the OP3, so sold it off and got the 3T. Treated it as a xmas present for myself :D

There's a chaneglog when you go to install the update.

    There was nothing big anyway.

What's the difference really between the two Original OP3T Leads I have?

One came in the box with the dash charger/phone and the other I got from them is....................the best way to describe it................like a long string of thick pasta. They don't match in their materials but I guess they do both jobs equally.

Berty, I saw on Reddit that the cable the majority of people get with the phone is round and the cable that most people purchase separately is flat. But some people purchased round ones and some received flat ones with the phone so there can't really be any difference between them other than the form.

Flat one is the Pasta type one I suppose and I prefer it because it's soft and pliable out of the box unlike the original one that came with the OP3T

WRT to cases, I have a Spigen Neo Hybrid and am quite happy so far with it.

Part of me would prefer a closing cover like I had for my Galaxy S6, but I doubt I'll change from the Spigen for a while anyway.

I really like the case that came in the accessory bundle I got with the phone. It's sturdy and doesn't significantly increase the size of the phone. Has survived a drop screen first onto a tiled floor off a table which is what killed my last phone, so I'm happy.

The one bad thing is, the OP3 is such a nice phone with the metal back that I'd love to just not have a case on it at all...

OP3 is the first smart phone I've ever had to put a case on!

I got the phone and felt the back of it and went straight onto otterbox and bought the case. The otterbox takes up way too much real estate though. I'd say it comfortably doubles the thickness of the phone, if not more :(

Keeping an eye on here as these Spigen ones seem really low profile, that's more what I want :)
