    Nah the Strawberry ones, no one like them so they're cheaper

    Thought I'd gotten away with it too until I spied a card there at 6 a.m this morning...nothing an oul stop in the local Topaz couldn't fix this evening....winner winner chicken dinner.

    For Valentines a few years ago, I took her to the RDS for a game. I even splashed out on seats for the Anglesea Stand. The lucky girl. She has it good.

    It was a home game to the Dragons. The one where Darren Hudson went over in the corner from a long Madigan pass for the BP in the 82nd minute. Just about the worst game played in the RDS in several years.

    I haven't convinced her to go back since.

    I asked my wife on Monday if we were doing anything for Valentines and she gave me a blank stare. Moments later she realised the next day was Valentines.

    Farcical event, contrived romance is no romance at all. Whatever about "bah humbug", I think "bah hallmark" applies this time of year.

    I'd say it had more to do with the Rohypnol I'd borrowed from Stheno's fella.

    Is Barcelona worth a visit? Want a few days away and while I prefer heading a bit further east, Im considering Barca...Is it worth it, anyone been there ?

    Absolutely. Been there a few times and enjoyed it immensely. If you are bringing kids then take the tram up to tibidabo. It's on a huge hill overlooking the city and has a great theme park there. Not too expensive...think it cost me €100 for the 5 of us and everything was free to go on.

    Great restaurants and plenty to see. Accommodation is reasonable as well.

    Yeah go for it, one of the best cities in Europe IMO. Cheap beer, great food, loads of sun... Personally I try and stay in or around the Gothic quarter, loads of cool dive bars and places to eat and it's a very young town.
